    Birthday email from BTD

[rant]So my birthday was yesterday, and I recieved a happy birthday email from BTD [Be the dealer]. I thought, great, they're giving me a present. The statement at the bottom of the email made it look that way also. [For bonus rules, contact ...]

Re-downloaded the software [I'm on a different computer, my old one died], logged in, and to my surprise, my balance is $0.00. WTF are they thinking? Misleading me into thinking I had a free bonus because of my birthday so I'd log in and deposit?? Quite the opposite.[/rant]

At least global-player gave me a little something

It doesn't actually promise a bonus in the email, although I do see where
it can lead you to think there may have been one awarded. My casino's
usually throw me a $100 on my b'day.
I'd send them an email and tell them how you feel about it though.
"The squeaky wheel gets the grease". Maybe they'll throw something your way. If not, deinstall them and be on your way. There are plenty of other
places that DO take care of their players.

Already done, we'll see. And yea, it never said anything about a bonus, but as you said, it does lead one to think they're actually giving you something; but leaving it as a surprise until you log into your account..

Happy Birthday Winbig72. Mine was yesterday too. I got about maybe ten birthday offers from MG sites and a dozen more birthday wishes from other casinos. The Crazy Vegas group put 10 bucks into my accounts with each, Maple, etc. for free. Cool! Nice touch.

I tried to adjust my Casinomeister profile. Strange, it's got me down as November 30. I don't know how the heck that happened. But I wasn't successful and it still shows November. Heck, I don't want two birthdays. I'm getting old fast enough as it is.

First,Happy Birthday Winbig 72(beaston72) and Paul 1. Winbig,it's a pity you didnt win something at the freeroll as a birthday present. I was hoping you did.

Back on BTD's birthday mail, the statement at the bottom really does look as if they had deposited something into your account and that you have to comply to the bonus terms before cashing out. A most frustrating birthday e-mail that they should not have sent in the first place.

    Thumbs up

Getting the thread back on track -

I recieved a PM from BTD's rep on here, and the situation has been rectified

Although I wasn't asking for, nor expecting any free gifts, they too saw the "error" in the email that was sent; leading one to believe that there was a bonus in the account waiting for them..

I feel better now that I've at least had a response to this issue, and now truely believe that this wasn't done intentionally. Hell, everyone makes mistakes

Kudos to BTD for taking the innitiative and seeing the problem, and resolving it to everyone's satisfaction.

Nice to hear you got your birthday present albeit a belated one. So since it isnt deceptive anymore, maybe the title of the thread can now be changed. BTD did the right thing so kudos to them.
