i had this simulator fruit machine (UK only) software where you could play around with all the switches and stuff at the back of the machine - basically you could adjust how the machine plays - mind you, i wasnt very good at it but i managed to fix it that the fruit machine would never pay the jackpot at all - i played 1000s and 1000s and 1000s of spins and it refused to pay the jackpot - this was a 25p a spin, £250 club machine

with reference to the paperwork, i do hope that this is the case but my point was that the machines can obviously be manipulated to pay out as tight or as loose as possible

You should be very happy it happened at Ladbrokes.

I am sure they will pay winners and not use the 'all winnings will be void in case of malfunction' or whatever it is in the T&C.

But it is indeed very interesting to hear the cause of that defect game.

    1) Is it the RNG
    2) Just that game use of the RNG(i.e. wrong weight/mapping)?
    3) Was it a 'setting' meaning the casinos can change MG's payout settings?

    The worst is definately #3).

    #2) is most likely.

In case the RNG is malfunctioning this can make the casino suffer a lot worse
than the players, so that would not scare me away.
