Gold Rally Jackpot was hit today (1.76 million $)

    at about 1,760,942 usd!

I was wondering, how do the casinos pay such amounts?
    By monhtly installments?
Is it just the casino that pays or also the software manufacturer? (in this case Playtech)
Anyone knows at which casino it was hit?

I think Playtech will pay the full sum in a single payment. As for which casino it is,you can look for it within the next 24 hours at winajackpot.com. All the info related to playtech progressive jackpots are listed there.

Each casino pays "progressive" royalties from each spin on a PJ game to the s/ware provider. When the Jackpot is hit, the S/ware provider usually (as i understand it) funds the casino the full amount which they then pay out -correction, should pay out - in one hit!

I seem to remember an instance not too long ago where a casino tried to pay the player in installments, despite claims the s/ware provider had paid them the full amount.
