Some people don't like having a company having all the info (routing #, etc) from their bank. It's a personal choice.

And who cares if the casino covers your expenses for having to fund your neteller account.

I think the prepaid mastercard thing is a great idea! I can't wait to have a little more PRIVACY in my transactions.

Although everyone thinks that Neteller is the BEST and etc, I don't think it is. Why? Well, here's a few of the reasons...

    1. I could not signup for it because I live in Malaysia.
    2. When I tried using my Singapore address, I could signup but out of the blues, I got an email from them telling me that I still owe them US$1000 or something of that sort. Yes, I do agree that I lived in the US for quite some time when I was studying there but hell... how many of you guys could tell me if you had time for online casinos or even spare change when you were in college. It's impossible that I owe them money. I don't even have an account with them.
    3. I hate things that tie up with your bank account. I have never EVER paid a bill (when in the US) via phone check or something like that. I'd rather use my Credit Card or Debit Card. It's safer and more documented.

So, there's about a few reasons why I don't think Neteller is good and why I can't/won't be using them until they get their FACTS right!!!

I'm hoping that no John Smith owes them money, coz if he did, they'd most probably BAN each and every "John Smith" in their system, which I am sure is a LOT!!!
You win some, you lose some... nobody can win it all.

Another alternative that I much prefer over neteller is Payspark Works very much the same way except it isnt linked to any of your information whatsoever it's a card linked to a checking acct. that Payspark sets-up for you only problem with it really is only Microgaming casino's accept Payspark and also you have to load a minimum of 50$ at a time or more onto it but other than that I love my payspark payout's are just as fast as neteller there support is much more friendly and you get an atm access card that you can use at P.O.S. terminals as well so it's also an option!

I also have had similar problem's with neteller and won't use there service either!! One of my friend's tried to set-up an acct. with them a while back he set-up an account and that went fine but after they let him deposit 100$ from his debit card into the neteller account they then emailed him saying they couldnt let him use the funds because of an Address conflict and then took almost 60 days to get him his 100$ back which I think is outrageous. I also found the support people there to be extremely rude and not helpful at all...... Maybe I just had a bad experience however it's one Im not willing to possibly have to deal with again but that's just my 2-Cent's on it!

While I mostly play at microgaming casinos, sometimes I play at others, so my Netspend card is handy (and hasn't been declined yet). I also have Payspark so I alternate between the two (sometimes I can cashout via ACH method to Netspend but some casinos don't allow it so I cashout to Payspark).

Payspark just released a new card that's a MasterCard credit/debit card. I haven't tried it out yet but maybe it will be accepted at non-Microgaming (is that a word?) casinos.

    Thumbs down grrrr

I wish Netspend would actually tell you on the site that they "hold" your funds for the first 24 hours. And that they do not give you the CC #/CVV2# over the phone (like mymccard.com does) so you can use it immediately online. Now I get to wait a friggin week before I get the card so I can use it. Leaving a bad taste in my mouth already. I sure hope to hell this works as everyone says it does for online casinos; seeing as how I just moved and haven't setup a bank account yet - so Neteller is useless to me right now

When I signed up for a Netspend card, I was given a temporary card that could only be used at ATM machines and was told that the actual card would be mailed to me (took less than 1 week to receive). The card you receive in the mail is a genuine MasterCard credit/debit card (with MasterCard logo) and has your 3 digit code on the back. It does work well for casino deposits. And many casinos will let you do an ACH withdrawal to it too (the ones that don't require a voided copy of a check). ACH deposits to the card work (example, I have my paycheck direct deposited to it) but you can't use it to ACH out. Still, it's a very good option for people who don't want their regular bank accounts associated with gambling transactions.
