Geishalounge Voiding 1454$ of my 1954$ winnings: resolved
Hi there!
This is the story. I used the MISSUFEB coupon at geishalounge, which is a 150% match for the players they have missed (existing). (deposit 50 get 75). Won quite a bit on their slots, and now they claim it has a max withdrawal of 500$. Which is not true, atleast it wasnt when i deposited. The rule was just recently added to their terms, and it was not in the promotional email i recieved from them. I think i have enough proof of this. So they are paying me 500$ instead of 1954$ which is unfair. Attached here is the screenshots from the promotional email. The terms page when i made my deposit, and the terms and conditions page now. Also i have a livechat conversation on record where they just say they have this rule of 500$ max cashin on this coupon, but they couldn't point out exactly where it is at that point (because there was not one then). I think they have changed it just recently to their website (point 1.4). Notice in the end where it has been added the 500 max cashin to the new terms. Normally they have specified the maximum cashin if there is one in the promotional emails they send out. Here is a sample promo terms from yesterday, notice there is a max cashin, in my email there was not one: Promotional Terms: * Offer available from Mon,13th February 06' - Sunday,19th February 06' EST * 20x wagering of purchase + bonus applies to each coupon. * Playthrough has to be completed prior to playing any other games & prior to claiming the next code. * Only available to players with no account balance & no pending cashin. * Only available to those players to whom the offer was sent to. * Maximum cashin on each coupon is (purchase + bonus) x 10. * Example : You purchased $100, redeemed a 100% bonus ($100), therefore your maximum cashin from this coupon is $2000($100+$100x10) * This or any other offer is terminable at any time in accordance with the views of management without prior notice or obligation. Just got a call
Just got a Call from Geishalounge, that the whole amount is being paid.
When i get paid i will post here so we can close this thread. Also got an emaill which basically said: Thanks for your e-mail. I had a look at your request and I do agree with you that the max. cashins should have mentioned on the promotional newsletter. I think that this ended well and the Casino has paid up what it owes.
I am not afraid to step in and speak to them re this sort of situation. If you can not pay up then dont offer a promotion is what i say to the guys and they know this. This would have been resolved in your favour ,i am just glad that the Casino saw sense in resolving it before i got involved. To back up my words, I have made an example(extreme case):
T&C: You deposit 100$ and get 100$ bonus. Max cash-out is 2000$. (minimum wagering not important for this example) Game: You play a NO EDGE casino game where you bet 200$ (all in 1 bet) and paytable is: (1 out of 100) you win 20000$ (99 out of 100) you win 0$ (loose it all) So payback for this game is 100% Payback with the T&C is 10% (not hard to see) Last edited by Zoozie; 14th February 2006 at 02:57 PM. |

Promo Terms

This is something that i will bring to the Casinos attention. Your example however is the most extreme and i think that if a Casino is offering you a 100% bonus on a purchase it should be able to determine what the maximum payout is.Bonus money is a factor in payouts ,i have belived this and maintain this.If you do not want to be restricted then by all means play with no bonus money . If they did not respond within 3 or 4 days or that they insist on not paying you,then its worthwhile to post the case here. The fact is good casinos may feel pressure even when they are out to rectify things immediately but are not given the opportunity to do so time-wise. |
