Why would someone want to sell me a gambling database?

Got an email from an outfit called Trade Shield Pty Ltd asking:

"Just a quick follow up to see if your company is interested in our Gambling Databases, they come fully dated and with IP Source and Time Stamp.

Guaranteed NEW CLIENTS.

The Databases lists contain:

Email, First name ,Last name, Address1 ,Address2, City, State, Country, Zip, Tel, Gender, Birth Year, Birth Month ,Birthday, DOB,Source URL, IP Address, Date/time stamp."

I get these offers all the time.

Most of these are really fake, or way old, and if some slob buys them he will not be a happy trooper.

True lists like this are next to impossible to find - they are at best traded between casino operators.

they are usually fake or old. lots of phoney databases are for sale on the adult webmaster boards too.
