    Change of Address

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, its not a really a complaint of a certain casino.

I have a small problem. I have established my accounts at a bunch of casinos's and play with them all at different times. I am now moving and I am moving into my brothers house. The problem is is he is also a gambler and many of the casino's he belongs to I also belong to. I have written to most of the casino's about this to make sure that there want be a problem in getting paid or recieving promotion bonus's from time to time. It looks like that I want have many casino's left to play with. Only 3 right now have said no problem and about 5 said I would need to close one of the accounts. Most of the casino's are "Accredited casino's". That would not be fair to my brother so I would have to close mine. I am still waiting for some more casino responeses.
I understand this double account thing ,no two accounts under 1 household, but I figured I have established my accounts at the casino's before I moved, lost got paid lost got paid and so on. What can I do. I am now worried to play at any casino.

    Thanks in advance

As long as you have written proof that they said you could keep both accounts open, I wouldn't worry about it.

As far as the other casinos that said you need to close one of the accounts, send them a "counter-offer"....ask them if they would allow both accounts to stay open if you were to take a picture of your brother and yourself side by side; then send them a copy of both drivers licenses showing the same address.

To me that would prove that you're telling the truth, and they may make an exception. The worst they could do is say no.

Man is it a lot of work to change your address. I don't have any bills and licence with the change yet so its gets a bit hard with some casino's. Than t there's the ones that say as long as I have a netteler account no big deal. I am only going to be at this new address only for 6 months or so. I'm going to have to do this all again.
Not only that I belong to probally 10- 15 casinos's and they all ask for different things. I am getting all confused of who wants what.

    Thanks

I agree, just don't play at the ones who give you so much grief until you have your own address again.

There have got to be some reputable casinos your brother doesn't play at - play there in the interim.

Another idea would be to simply use your brothers casino account, give him the money to deposit into his checking account (if you trust him enough), then use HIS neteller/firepay/whatever account to make a deposit. If you want to make a withdraw, then have him sign & send in the faxback form, etc. Entice him with 10% of winnings to make it worth his time.. lol

    But a bad one

Anytime you breach a casino's T&Cs, they are not obligated to pay your winnings. If you scew up and get caught - you are S.O.L.

The best advice in this thread is to just not play for six months - or open one account at one casino (not on your brother's list) per software provider of your choice (one MG, one Playtech, one Crypto, etc.) and play there exclusively. There should be no need to play at a shitload of casinos during the move. If you chose to play at the ones your brother plays at, (as mentioned before) get something in writing that says that this is cool.

I was also thinking after that would be a bad idea. So I sighned up with two Accredited casino's with my new address. And I have 4 others Accredited casino's that I have in writting that says no problem. So just sticking with these 6 casino's is enough for now. I mean how much money do I want to lose 6 seems enough risk for my money.

    Thanks Bryan for the warning.

** Hey there - I am slightly confused, which is normal for me, but .. Did your brother move out and you moved in? If that is the case then he can just send an e-mail with yours to show the changes etc... so it will still be one per household.

If that is not the case - I know that a lot of the bonusses are really the only thing that is applied to that rule. So ONE of you won't be able to take up on the bonus, but you can still have your accounts, with the same adress... You need to change your adress with the casino, and to do that, you need to show a new adress. The advise I can give you is then as such:
Either don't play for six months (or however long it takes to get your own accounts) or don't make the change yet, but don't cash out. I know it is not very wise, but my thinking is as such. The only reason they 'say' they want your adress is to send you a cheque when you cash out in that method... and I understand that it IS for your own protection. However, if you make the change, and you let the casino know that you are making the change, and there will be a 'transition' period for your adress, this is teh advise they will give you. BEFORE they change the adress they want 'proof' that it is 'yours' or 'you' requesting the change. Else anyone can just call in and 'divert' your money to themselves.
I don't know if this helps any, or if i am particularly clear on it... but either way, that is my experience. If you are a long term player, chances are you will be 'understood' a bit better. **
