    Skykings promotion not honored

I played at Skyking casino on the 8th of March. That day I was supposed to get 2 for 1 for a Blackjack. I didn't get the additional bonus.

After some other excuses and delays, they claim that there is a rule avoiding withdrawals before getting the blackjack bonus.
Here is an excerpt from the terms and conditions below:-
"To qualify, you must deposit a minimum of $50 and play during the 24 hour period between 00.01am and 23.59pm Atlantic Standard Time.
Any withdrawal requests made prior the bonuses being awarded will void the promotion."
When I notified them that the quoted text never existed. They "found" a rule in their first deposit bonus. There under the title "Deposit Bonuses":
A player must have also not requested a withdrawal. In such circumstances, any withdrawal or pending withdrawal will result in all remaining deposit bonuses being void. (my emphasis).
    Now,

First, This rule appears in the section "Deposit Bonuses", and says specifically "deposit bonuses".

Second, This rule did not exist in the rules for "All promotions and offers"

Third, There was an extra list of terms for this blackjack promotion. There too, no mention of the "no withdrawal" rule existed.

I got stung on this one, too. Really nothing you can do about it.

The rules ae clear. My bad - and yours, too, I'm afraid - for withdrawing.

The rule is about "deposit bonus" only. They do not owe me a deposit bonus but a blackjack extra payment.

You're arguing semantics - do you think I woldn't have pursued it myself if the casino had been in the wrong? I told you, I was in the same boat.

Depositing was a requirement, making the BJ bonus a "deposit" bonus whatever else it was. There is no way around that fact. The casino is not in the wrong here.

They gave me a $200 bonus as compensation, with the requirement I reverse my withdrawal first - only $230, so I thought I might as well.

I am certain this promo isn't a "deposit bonus".
That is not semantics. A percentage bonus on a deposit is void if you withdraw soon, whereas a 2-1 blackjack is not a bonus on the deposit at all, unless you take the deposit 50 bucks provision to say that it a bonus on that deposit....

Whatever, let see hear everyone judgment.

    Sky Kings

SkyKings very brutishly tried to screw me over terms a couple of weeks ago, during their Easter promo. The promo-specific terms very explicitly required wagering 12 times the bonus, but they denied my cashout, saying it was 12 times deposit + bonus and that blackjack wasn't allowed (something that was not mentioned in the promo-specific terms, nor in the general terms, while other excluded games were listed).

Fortunately, I had a screenshot of the terms. After I sent it to them, they tried once more to bully me into their 12 times deposit + bonus, no blackjack fantasy. When I sent the screenshot again, this time threatening to bring the issue here in this forum, they apologized and processed my cashout.

I think Sky Kings is deliberately trying to manipulate players :

1-Through the use of multiple, semi-complementary, sets of terms published in different parts of their website (promo-specific terms, "Deposit bonuses" terms, "All Promotions and Offers" terms),

2-By making sure that promo-specific terms are incomplete (i.e. making no reference to excluded games).

3-Through the use of the following wildcard line in their GENERAL terms : "Certain games are not eligible for the deposit bonuses including, but not limited to, Roulette, Craps, Baccarat and Sic Bo."

Anyone playing their promos these days better get a solid set of screenshots, written confirmations of terms, etc. In this case it's clearly the casino who is playing the semantics game.

You're absolutely correct - those terms "Certain games are not eligible for the deposit bonuses including, but not limited to, Roulette, Craps, Baccarat and Sic Bo." are an absolute con job. The intention is cleary to cover the casino in the event they face a big payout, enabling them to slip in those games that caused them their biggest losses and point to the "but not limited to" clause and say, "sorry, game XYZ was one of the "...but not limited to..." games, terms violation, no money for you".

This is the most ridiculous casino clause I have EVER seen.

You should certainly never play here without first getting written confirmation of terms.

I agree. Having visited the site, it is clear to me they offer certain bonuses for depositing either initially or with neteller. Under each of these they detail the rules. One of the rules for these "deposit bonuses" disallows withdrawing prior to the bonuse being credited.

These deposit bonuses are sticky. The rule makes sense in terms of the sticky bonus. They want the risk of loss to the deposit. If one deposited and then removed the deposit, the risk of loss would be to the sticky bonus only.

This is not a deposit bonus. It is a blackjack promotion.

There is a section that applies to all bonuses. The rule about withdrawing prior to the bonus but after a promotion has ended isn't there. One would think that if they wanted it to apply to all bonuses, they would put it there.

Question - Was the extra BJ payment sticky? Or did you get to cash it in?

Man, they're pretty clear all over their site that they reserve the right to keep bonus monies for any reason at any time as well as many other charming online casino bad practices.

Generally no withdraw request will be processed before 4 business days of making the request so that you can cancel withdraw requests while the transaction has not been processed, and return the amount back to your casino account, so you can go ahead and play.

    .....................................
Certain games are not eligible for the deposit bonuses including, but not limited to, Roulette, Craps, Baccarat and Sic Bo.

If you wish to play any of these games please contact support@skykingscasino.com to have the bonus removed and provide access.

Sky Kings Casino reserves the right, exercisable at its sole discretion, to change or cancel the Terms and Conditions of any promotional offers at any time and it is the player’s responsibility to regularly check back here for updates.

Any person deviating from the promotional rules may be disqualified without notice. Sky Kings Management reserves the right to refuse promotional entry to players, for which it will not be obligated to provide a reason.

9.8 We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to offer and advertise from time to time promotions, bonuses or other special offers and each such offer will be subject to specific terms and conditions which will be valid for a limited period of time. In connection with the specific terms of the above promotions, bonus and special offers, we further reserve the right to withhold any withdrawal amount from your account which will be in excess of your original deposit. In addition, we reserve the right to withhold or otherwise decline or reverse any pay-out or winning amount or amend any policy in the event that we suspect that you are abusing or attempting to abuse any of the following: (i) bonuses; (ii) other promotions; or (iii) specific policy or rules determined in respect of an existing game or a new game.
    .................................................. ...........................................

Withdrawal times vary according to payment methods, ranging from 5-7 days for services such as NETeller and FirePay to 10 days for wire transfer and up to three weeks for checks. Once you request a withdrawal, you have four days to cancel your request.
