    Slotland's website contains this statement:
"The random number generator used in SLOTLAND's proprietary software has been tested and found to conform with the results of similar games found in Atlantic City with respect to randomness and payout frequency."
I would like to understand how it is compatible with the shared jackpot scheme, and players' experience of a much less than 100% payout.

    Hi,

Have you ever seen the slot game which looks exactly the same as Jacks or Better Video Poker ?

For me it is misleading players.

    THE CLASSIC VIDEO POKER GAME.
SLOTLAND casino proudly presents the Jacks Or Better, the most popular video poker game ever. No download needed, just open an account and start to play immediately!
THE CLASSIC VIDEO POKER GAME ?

    Statistical analysis

I knew I wouldn't playing Video Poker, but I deposited anyway.

After only 100 hands I ran two statistical tests. Both tests yeilded a less than 1 in a million chance all card appearance frequencies were represented by a 1/54 chance (WildHearts game).

No, not in compliance with Nevada or New Jersey rules.

My experiment only cost me $14. I was lucky.

This isn't the issue - we know it's a slot machine. The issue is that they HIDE this fact at the bottom of a "technical tips" page, whilst CLEARLY stating that slots and video poker are DISTINCT on a MUCH more central page. These statements are DIAMETRICALLY OPPOSED to each other. The one (prominent) one says "in addition to our slot games we offer the following..." and the (hidden) one says "all our games are slots."

    This is the issue.

Hopefully not going too off topic here but in the UK we have many different versions of poker machines in pubs and amusement arcades and they are all "slot" types. And most have built in "sequences or "streaks" where you will hit several large payouts in close sequence!! None of them are random at all

If only our gambling machines had the same strict criteria as Nevada hey!!

But then again in my youth I used to win thousands on them so maybe not

How I understand it the note on their webpage only talks about the chance to hit a royal flush, if all other payouts are also paid like a slot machine, then they are simply cheating.

Does anyone remember the post on Casinomeister by a Slotland employee a few years ago saying how Space Jack was randomly dealt (apart from the jackpot, maybe)? I cannot find it now. Players used to be able to play one hand at a time just as in normal blackjack. They sometime later changed the rules to make you play all three hands at a time. It wasn't fairly dealt at all to begin with, despite the site and customer support telling them otherwise.

There was also someone who posted on bj21 who got a 58k jackpot but only received $200 compensation after they said it was a software error. http://mb.winneronline.com/showthread.html?t=2938

    bonuses and payout percentages...

What I would like a clear explanation of, is do the bonuses that slotland offer through various portals count as part of their "payout %ages". Once, when I wrote them regarding the very poor play I had at their games and asked them to clarify this. Robert responded that I really had not done so badly (something like 94%) and I asked if the bonus I received was in fact part of the %age I had supposedly achieved and he in so many words (sorry, it was awhile back) said "yes"... so, if all the small bonuses you can get from various sites along with affiliate commissions figure into their overall payout, it is not surprising that the payout %claim they make is overall much higher than most individual's experience playing there. I don't know if this (bonuses figuring into payout percentages) is the norm across the board with other on line casinos or not.

Slotland have completely ignored players' - and apparently now affiliates' - requests to change that grossly misleading "in addition to our slots..." page.

I consider Slotland a ROGUE casino - they are deliberately and wittingly deceiving their players.

I advocate all players stay away from Slotland.

No one's ignored me since I haven't had a chance to say anything about this yet. I'm doing so now.
