At the same time, the slot "noise" will garble as well. This happened repeatedly at Collosseum last week, and I wrote them about it several times. THEN, it happened when it should have resulted in a $1000 payout; the last reel then adjusted itself and it became a $10 payout. I immediately emailed them, giving them the exact time of day it happened, etc. I couldn't take a screen shot because it happened so quickly. I don't expect anything to be done about it, and I got the big "we will report this to Microgaming and get back to you" blow off, but I was just wondering if anyone else has encountered this??
I am sure it is designed to be like this to make you feel that you almost hit a big prize so that you keep playing. Slots work like this: the RNG generates a random number, which determines where the wheels will stop, then the machine puts on a show with the wheel spinning and eventually the wheels stop where it was determined that they should stop. A mechanical wheel may get jammed and stop in the wrong position, but it won't happen in online casinos.
