    Casino King took my money

On October 27 I deposited 500 and got a 175 bonus at Casino King.
After playing many times on Blackjack Switch and Aces and Faces and Jacks or Better, I withdrew $9625 on Dec 2nd. They told me that I played excluded games, Jacks or Better and Blackjack Switch. they gave me $3000 and CONFISCATED the rest.

I have followed the link in the email I got announcing the promotion (Oct 27) and there is no mention of excluded games other than the standard Craps, roulette, sicbo, and Bacarrat. I have never known Casino King to have any excluded games except these.

Anyone else have this problem? Anything I can do to get my money?

Do you have a url for this venue? I thought Casino King went out of business some time back.

They're sister to Swiss Casino and Casino Las Vegas who have also been reportedly pulling these tricks.

What the hell is up with Playtech lately, they really have taken over the role of the dodgiest casinos to play at.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm completely avoiding the software.

Thanks, Mac - this site has had a revamp since I last saw it some time ago.

Garag3 I hate to tell you this but this outfit claims it is licensed in Antigua, and those folks are not good at assisting players with disputes. Playtech's disputes channel has still to prove itself as well, but it is worth a try.

Dirk is right - this software provider's licensees seem to be generating way too many disputes over very questionable decisions of late - imo they are probably best avoided.

Since they claim to be licensed in Antigua, I took the liberty to look into the Directorate of Offshore Gaming's site and there are totally NO Casino King on there. There are a few others there but totally no Casino King.

I'm not sure if I made a mistake or if I just overlooked it. But you could check it out yourself if you want to.

    http://www.antiguagaming.gov.ag/licensees.asp

I see a 2 Intercontinental Online Gaming Ltd but none of them are licensed for Casino King. Perhaps you could send a complain to the directorate. They might be able to help. I'm not sure if anyone tried it yet but click on the link above and look for complains. There's a complain form there.

Hope you get your winnings back.

Ps. Please do get everythng in BLACK and WHITE.

After a little more digging, I also found out that Casino King is not even listed in their owner's webpage. Intercontinental Casinos

I'm guessing that they are either not licensed or something. This is just CRAZY!

with playtechs reputation of late and the fact things only seem to be getting worse rather than better i'm surprised that CM has let quite a few of these playtechs on board here.

I'm sure that CM has checked them out and they deserve to be here, however the fact is that playtech continues to ignore complaints from players and sites like this. so maybe the time has come for the whole community to shun playtechs altogether, including those outfits that are deemed to be reputable and honest.

although this may sound unfair, but if the reputable outfits abandoned playtech software due to player pressure then hopefully this would in turn put pressure on playtech to clean up its act.

    Part of the "Evil Sixteen".

Until such a time as Playtech disputes show evidence of doing more than absolutely nothing, I see no chance of any resolution of any Playtech dispute. I also see no justification in at the very least considering Playtech officially "not recommended" as a provider. Far, far too many issues.

Totally agree. Playtech licensees have overtaken RTG for the title of Most Crooked Software Group.

New online gamblers should be aware that if you play at Playtech you are -EV to get your money.

Even the best Playtechs (is that an oxymoron?) are questionable IMHO. I suggest staying far away from the lot of them.

Strange why they would give you $3000. Where did that number (arbitrary) come from?
