Now March. Any news?
From the vast silence, I'm assuming it's status quo?
Is there a way to get hold of a Casino-action rep in this forum? Member "Casino-Action" does not seem to accept PMs or emails.
No sign of a Blackjack tournament, nor any correction of the many bugs and misinformation on the websites.
The Tuesday event is now on Loaded, and promotional mailers went out for this.
I uninstalled all the casinos, and no sooner as I had done so than £2000 worth of deposit bonuses came in (I did REALLY CRAP on them :-( )
This is despite the fact that VIP deposit matches were supposedly abolished last year. It seems that they ask for comments, but then just do their own thing whatever is said. Seems they are trying many new things to see who bites, but are not realising the promises made. The excuse about "data conflict" has been exposed as the BS I said it was, as NO new BJ tournament took place in February for the data to conflict with, and it looks like the "End of March at the latest" is now way off track.
The scores on the slots tournaments show that these are raking in a hell of a profit based on the house edge on slots, the top 10 scores, and the 20x WR on the prizes. Clearly, if these make money, and the Blackjack does not as only "pretend" chips are used, I doubt there will be any hurry to introduce it again.
The "Wheel of Cash" is also pretty dead, for something that Vinoka swore was "Random", it's behaviour has really changed for the worse over an extended period of time. When it does spin it is almost always the £15 or £25 offerings.
I had the recent Valentine "chocolates" promotion in all 6 accounts. 6x£25!!! What a fix!!!! The same happened later with a "Random" bonus already preallocated to our "valued VIP's", again 3x£25 - random my a***!!!!!
I gave Vinoka a written "warning" and uninstalled the "bleedin' lot", -- that's when the £2000 worth of 50% matches turned up!!!
The "bonus ratio" is still working behind the scenes, and is around 30% as before at Platinum Level. I have worked out that I have been "under bonused" during the bonus account version, but I have now been "over bonused" under the current system.
They will remain offline on my PC until the next worthwhile offer, or the reinstallation of the Blackjack tournament (or installation of a much bigger hard drive).
Well it seems the "new and improved" BJ tournament is finally back!!!
Many will be dissappointed, as it is only for VIP players (though it isn't clear as to what level VIP you have to be), and, you don't get free chips to play Bj with.....you bet with your own funds. It looks like the competition runs all week, and prizes are awarded at the end of the week. Also, there are only 10 prizes now, like all their other tournaments, instead of the old...50 prizes I beileve it used to be? Its been so long now...
That being said, at least its better than nothing....and its always running. As soon as it ends on Sunday, the new one immediately begins.
I must say I am quite pleased with this group as of late. Many competitions to choose from, and VIP services has been quite attentive. Even though its less than it used to be, Casino Action group gives out more comps and bonses than any other MG group......
Last nite, for instance, I had 999 comp points and asked if they could perhaps top off my points so I could redeem the 1,000 ($40 for platinum VIP).
I was very pleased when I logged in and found 2,000 points waiting for me!
And best of all, I don't have to belong to some "exclusive" club ( are you listening 32RED?????????)
Yeah a bit unfair that the new BJ tournament if only for VIP players but better than nothing i guess.
I love your comment on 32red hehe.. As I am a bit frustrated over there loyalty program. Maybe they will change it I know i have complained to them a few times about it.

Casino Action has lost me as a long standing customer just a couple weeks ago. After an uncountable amount of incorrectly reversed withdrawals I contacted my VIP manager that I am no longer willing to take this and informed her that I would like to collect all my outstanding comp-points.
She was very apologetic again, just as always when I had contacted her about my reversed withdrawals before. -This time though.... I was done.
Actually it did not even surprise me anymore when I realized that even the Comp-points that I withdrew from my Challenge Casino account got reversed again. As I did not feel like putting any more efforts into this I simply kept withdrawing the funds until I received the funds into my Neteller account after four or so attempts of requested payouts.
I do not know if this is evil-strategy or simply incompetence but I am done with them. Even my Platinum player status at their group was useless.
Other than that a 80* deposit and bonus wagering requirement for pretty much all games but Slots is just off.
Good Bye, Casino Action. -Praising the Good Ol' times......./
Yes, but a shadow of it's former self. In the old one the prizes were pretty big, $1200 for the winner and $800 for second. Now a mere $200, the worst paying tournament of all.
According to the terms, Autoplayed hands do not score, but how on earth can the casino tell? I though Autoplay was a function of the client interface, so could they simply use a criteria such as speed, length, and accuracy of play to determine which hands to disqualify? There are two monumental scores, but the rest are fairly small.
Probably in total the same amount of prize money is given out as before, as there are 4 or 5 runs per month.
I have noted that a new bonus system is being introduced. This is effectively the Grand Privvy "eZbonus", and allows cash-ins at any time with any bonus remaining confiscated in exchange. Bonus is earned in the same way as before in 2004, but the rates are not secret. the WR on a deposit bonus is reduced to 15x D+B on slots, however on Blackjack it has increased to an effective 150x (due to 10% weighting). Classic BJ is weighted at a mere 2%, so the WR is a colossal 750x. Classic BJ is only at Phoenician though.
I have noticed a lack of wheels of cash, but regular VIP matches are back again. Tournament prizes are adversely affected though, as the WR is 30x on slots from 20x under the old system, but Table Poker is down to 60x from 80x.
It seems the software handling cash-ins got corrupted during this upgrade as I also had many instant payments rejected, and had these been traditional cash-ins I would have suffered token refunds. It seems the software cannot handle the reaching of a zero balance and a fresh deposit, as well as holding on to a WR on a bonus granted under the old system despite being cleared by the new bonus system.
This is the first time in a year that it has been "two steps forward and one step back" at Casino Action, normally it is a case of "One step forward and two steps backwards".
Finally, can they explain HOW the January tournament data would have conflicted with the current BJ tournament, as this was the excuse given for the cancellation back in January - did they tell lies?
Maybe its just me, but it seems as though that Casino Action have tweaked their comp point conversion rate....and definately NOT in the players favor. Ever since this new BJ tournament began, it seems as though my comp points are accumulating a heck of a lot slower than before. Anyone else having similar results??
I have this sneaking suspicion that maybe since the launch of the new BJ tournament, they are no longer giving comp points on any bj wagers![]()
