I think it may be too early to tell, but it will probably slow to some extent. It depends on many factors. I'm sure many online casinos are scrambling to make up for loss of traffic over the past couple of weeks. I noticed a decrease in traffic right after the event, but that would be expected. There are more important things than stupid little web sites like this.

In the long run, I think it will be business as usual in a couple of months. Who knows, with a resurgance of a "fear of flying" many people who would have visited LV may decide to stay home and gamble online, but only time will tell.

I would expect a slowdown, as Americans become more cautious with their discretionary spending in light of economic uncertainty. Also, the already overlong check shipment times will be even longer, as passenger planes can no longer carry UPS or Fed Ex packages. Increased scrutiny of all international banking transactions means that American players will also encounter more questions from their banks about any large transactions.
