Dear Friend:

Yesterday, the Massachusetts House of Representatives voted 123-32 to bring resort-style casinos to our Commonwealth.

This critical revenue-generating and jobs-creating initiative will generate $400 million in new annual tax revenues; create thousands of construction jobs and thousands of permanent casino jobs; expand tourism, hospitality and convention and meeting growth; and provide small and mid-sized businesses the welcome opportunity of bidding on more than $500 million in annual casino goods and services contracts.

Your state representative voted 'YES" on this important legislation that allowed Massachusetts to take a first important step in helping to revitalize the Commonwealth's fiscal health, and to build a more competitive Massachusetts economy.

Please take a moment to contact your state representative and express your support for his or her courage and vision.

The legislation now moves to the state senate. We will be contacting you in the days ahead to, once again, ask for your help in encouraging your state senator to vote to approve this vital jobs and revenue legislation.

Thank you,

Kim Driscoll and Jay Ash
