    Casino took my chips?

    Hey,

So, I was playing blackjack in an Australian casino at a $25 table when an Asian man started to harass me for gameplay, I was playing third base and he took exception to a few of my decisions and informed me I wasn't much of a player or a man.

So I threw my glass at him (short scotch glass) and it just bounced onto the carpet but I was soon ejected by security and my chips were still at the table, they wouldn't let me back in or give me the money for them because I apparently 'spat' on one of their guards while they were ejecting me ( who wouldn't!!!! ) ..

I now have no record of even betting & the casino wont return my calls, what do I do?

Who can I sue for this?

    Absolutely. Sue.

Hire the most expensive lawyer you can find, and take it all the way to the Supreme Court.

After that, come back to the forums and tell us all about it. I could do with a good laugh.

At the moment I am considering starting a legal donation fund to bring a huge lawsuit against this casino as well as obviously starting a website to shame them into giving me back my $320.

I will also launch a PIB complaint today.

I will fight this all the way to the Supreme Court of Australia & if need be the Governor General.

It's not the $, it's the principle but I also want my $ back.

Your actions were out of line but it does not justify the Casino confiscating your funds. Taking someones money because they were involved in a fight or argument is theft.

I would suggest that you write a letter to Management and request your money. If not, you could possibly consult a lawyer.

I am sorry, Nate, but I disagree! This guy threw a glass at someone, that is called assault. He should be grateful that they didn't have him arrested.

I would like to see him sue. It would be quite amusing, IMO. He might get more than he bargained for, in the way of fines from the court from a frivolous lawsuit.

You have to be kidding , you come here looking for sympathy LOL
I wouldn't be surprised if you are not barred from all land base casinos in Australia. I do hope they have the same sort of security they have in Vegas. There you would be in a book of person non grata..
You should try and contact the casino, apologize for being an a$%^%$hole and try and find that asian player and apologize to him for your uncivilized behaviour
