Family trip to Dover downs Casino results

Gambling for entertinament purposes: This is what it is all about, not the crap they are NOW trying to pass online gambling as:

We went to Dover Downs Casino as a family get to gether with my boys and their wives. I mentioned this in another thread.

My husband and I treated the boys and their wives since it was their first visit there (they usually flew to vegas 4 times a year).

We received 3 free rooms for 2 nights, 6 free buffet dinners and breakfasts, and I received over $300 in comp dollars to spend for 2 days. They also gave my kids $50 each including their wives for just signing up as a new guest with no strings.

Here is the kicker. I have not been up there since FEBRUARY but yet they treated me and my family as precious guests and went above and beyond in services.

Now, the most interesting thing is we all came home with money. We had an extremely great time. We commandeered a blackjack table and spent hours playing having a blast and we all walked away with a few hundred dollars in our pockets playing a $5 game..

As to slots, it couldn't have been better..my daughter in laws were on a roll ...

Here are a few pics of the slots.. it is called 50 lions game . Some really amazing hits over and over on the SAME machine playing for pennies and making some great monies...

No casino online will ever match these kinds of experiences and fun because they have becoms so GREEDY..and do not care for the player. Just what they can suck from them..all in all, I think the casinos online have forgotten just who pays the bills...and I am in no hurry to go back to them...

It is much more fun and rewarding to be treated as if you mattered and are appreciated with no dead slots and card games where you have to pray and hope you might just catch a nibble..I mean, when 4 oak pays less than your bet..you know something is really really wrong with the games..When it takes $200-$300 to get back $25 on a bonus hit...something is very wrong...as to the slots at the B&M casino..it doesn't take hundreds of dead spins to hit a bonus round as you can see..only a few...and the rewards are much greater than any online casino can give...

Next time we go back, and maybe lose it all back...we will still come out ahead with all additional the comped rooms , food, free comp dollars to play with again on this next trip...either way...B&M's are still the best.
    JMO...

Couldn't agree with you more Silc, online casinos are a bust when it comes to value and real entertainment. Lately more than ever, it has become so minimal in the value of it, that it's not even worth bothering with.

Funny how something so innovative can become such a dinosaur in such a short period of time. Of course they will never match the perks and such one gets at a B&M, but they don't even try anymore to come close to it.

I think they have spent the previous years testing and studying peoples desire to continue no matter how much they lower the value of it. You get nothing, time and time again and yet are still willing to pay for it, what else are they to think, but that the people are easily hooked and willing to pay, for nothing.

edit: I notice all your stacked wins there, which also reminds me of just how rarely you see the stacked symbols on the online casino games. Sometimes I wonder why they even have stacked symbols, when they are hardly utilized.

Online casinos have lost any entertainment value. They have become a "hope and a wish" kind of torture and they are getting a kick out of it IMO.

Interesting you should say this since that has been my thoughts lately...what a great thing to offer to players that do not want to leave the house and ask for nothing but some value from their investment..and boy have they ruined any chances of that anymore when they could have put the B&M's out of business so easily..they went the route of putting themselves out of business..how smart was that?

Mavin2: I think they have spent the previous years testing and studying peoples desire to continue no matter how much they lower the value of it. Exactly my thoughts here also. They kept "tweaking" and fine tuning the greediness until now all they have left are very few that believe they are even kosher...and all those that never believed these casinos did not "tweak" themselves..well..the story tells itself now, doesn't it?
edit: I notice all your stacked wins there, which also reminds me of just how rarely you see the stacked symbols on the online casino games. Sometimes I wonder why they even have stacked symbols, when they are hardly utilized.
I aree on the futile and fruitless bonus rounds in these online games anymore..what IS the point offering games with a "potential" of wins such as these but NEVER giving them?? Classic example is 3Dice..as much as I enjoy playing there, I have NEVER seen 5 suns ora few of the other non existant wins they claim can happen...um...hello...when can this happen I would like to know.. (/watch, here everyone for the miracle might happen since this has been posted)

These few screenies I took are because I snuck them in while I could when I could have had so many more...it was like the 6 of us we on a great roll to make lots of money..how many of us can say this online when a "group" of players from the same casino at the same time can show great wins?? Never IMO...all we have are a few stragglers posting every once in a while anymore.

What a shame...I feel so let down by them since I believed just as many others did and now all for naught because they (the casinos online) are doing everything possible to fail...IMO..

At our local online casino we have many slots that have stacked symbols, you can get them constantly. I can't remember the names of the slots but one I like is the western one where any of the symbols can stack and clear across all the reels, like the windmills, covered wagons and so on. I also like this other one that has these stork heads, during the bonus round, the storks stick and each spin adds more storks with all the gold coins bouncing in his beak, which multiplies your wins, love it!

There are many others, but my minds a blank now. But the online casino that have stacks, they are like taboo if any come together and actually pay out.

The name of the Western themed slot evades me (Though i have it on the tip of my tongue as 'Buccaneer'??)

The second slot you speak of is "Pelican Pete" ... cool slot with Sticky Wilds.. Nice Wins ...

    Nate,

It's not Buccaneer but for the life of me, I can't remember the name. Gotta get 3 hands of cards for the bonus. Then has stacked cowboys with whips, right?

    Love those games.

It was actually quite comical at the tables..when we handed our players cards to the dealer..we all had the same last name so we really got the "look" from all of them..the pit boss didn't leave our table the whole time we were on it.

The only strategy we used (yes , we used one big one that I demanded they use since I was the mother) was when the dealer had a card less than a 7, I made sure the lowest hand at our table took a hit...it worked seamlessly each and every time..I think we won all the hands except maybe once every 20-25 hands this way...we spent many fun hours playing this way and my sons were the big bettors...and made quite a few big bills off of the table..and it was a $5 table..

We joked and played around so much, they (the pit boss and dealer) kept giving us some really funny looks..and of course free comps for dinner since we played so long...
