    Hard Rock Casino in Tampa

I just started seeing commercials for the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa.

It looks like a lot of fun! I was wondering if anyone has visited this casino.

I'd like to know more about it. I live in Florida so it's the closest one to me I think.

    Hard Rock

We have been there several times. It is a Native American Casino, and they are tight! At least in our experience. As are their comps. At least in my exp. they send out coupons to my husband and I so that they are for different times. And I might add they are not overly generous with the comps!) Meaning we can't go and play the free money at the same time. We live 70 miles away so....thats not a good thing! lol This month they sent out property credit, that you could use at the food outlets ect.........but if you used it for food you could take nothing out. LOL Even when we lived in Mi....Soaring Eagle didn't care if we took home a sub using comp money. It just seems to us that Tampa HR eats your money rather quickly with not a lot of return. Of course some win, thats what keeps them hopping and they are the only game for miles around.

Bring a lot of gambling money! The slots are tight and the minimums are 2cent. If you can find a 25 line that means 50 cent spins. The buffet is great and there's lots of music memorabilia to see as well. There's nothing else in the area other than Bush Gardens, so plan a short and expensive trip. I live about 40 minutes away and only go there about twice a year. If they were a little looser, I would be there weekly.
    Good luck and have fun.

    Hard Rock casino Tampa

We've been there many times, since we used to live in Florida and still vacation in Florida during the winter. They are very tight, they used to have generous comps but they don't anymore. I don't bet much when we go, usually we stop by on our way to somewhere else, like the dog or horse track, or the state fair or strawberry festival. I actually enjoy the gambling ships from Port Canaveral. You can get a free ride from Orlando, I think.
Not sure if they still run or not, we didn't try to go this past winter, stayed on the west coast. Your best bet for something to do on the weekends is to purchase the Florida resident pass to Disney and go as much as possible. The one with the blackout times is the best buy and who wants to go when all the kids are there anyway.
Anyway, I feel for you, NO gambling at all in the state I live in now unless you count the cheap as chit lottery. We save our money and go to Biloxi.
If you go there the Hard Rock casino there is the real deal, not Native American, and it pays well.

we have been going there since before it was a full casino with bingo and bingo slots..It was fun then,,lost quite abit but in time..Since it became a vegas style casino..I have spent 1000's between my wife and I,,With few comp..Its hard to find a machine that doesn't take atleast 3.75 to max.,,No free drinks and are very expensive..I called to reserve a jacuzzi room. The cost was 395.00 a night,EVEN with the money(1000.00) we have gone through there..The place s%&ks... We went to ip in biloxi 3 yrs ago and I still get offers(that I take)for free flight, and jacuzzi room and 100 to 200 free play and buffet...If the state would have allowed other casino's this wouldn't be happening..The Indian monopoly now dominates with no control..I had ask several people working there what the percentage payout was and got either no answer or differant answers,,,So All that being said..go to biloxi..There are plenty of casinos now in the casino row to keep one busy and happy,,AND FREE DRINKS

Tampa Hardrock now has 1c machines, although sometimes they can cost you more per spin than the 2c machines.
