Seven Bingo halls in Walker County have been ordered to close their doors. One immediately, and six other by Friday the 28th at 5 p.m. Judge Robert Vance ruled that the seven bingo halls were not run and operated by charities, which made them illegal. In Walker County, bingo halls must be run by the charities to insure the money is used to help the needy and not line the pockets of business men.

“If they fail to comply we will have to take steps to close the business and pad lock it,” says Walker County Sheriff John Mark Tirey.
