Former Foxwoods dealer reaches plea deal in cheating case

A former Foxwoods Resort Casino dealer agreed to a plea deal with prosecutors Wednesday and will not face time in prison for his role in a craps cheating ring.
Chandler Alfred Jr., 31, of Baltic pleaded guilty to fourth-degree larceny Wednesday in New London Superior Court, court officials said.
He was sentenced to a one-year suspended sentence and one year of conditional release. He was ordered to obey all laws and have no contact with his codefendants and was barred from returning to either Connecticut casino.
