Tunica Resorts area hit by tornado

    http://www.tunica-ms.com/tunica_tornado.htm

Little late on this, been doing my own cleaning up. This tornado struck in the late hours Friday night. Thousands of cars damaged, miles of electrical lines down. Only cosmetic damage to the casinos. Guess this gas station will be closed for awhile.

Oh dear! I didn't realize it was that bad in the area. We had our own watches and warnings going (roofs ripped off in nearby areas) so didn't really pay attention to NW Miss. weather.

    Thanks for the post, Brian.

The Cat: Oh, you can't help that. We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.

I spoke to my Mom & Dad who live in Robinsonville, MS. on Saturday and they told me that their apartment building suffered some damage with the siding and parts of the roofing being blown off and that the Red cross had just came by to check on everyone and offered food and such.

They said they were told that it may take up to four to five days to get their power back on and they were going to be staying at one of the casinos for the next three or so days,,,they said it was a mess down there !!
