    Thumbs up Memorable casino visits

Sorry Babs and Nash, but I went down to AC yesterday without you

Something was pulling me down there, and I'm glad I went! I ended up $2800+ for the trip, playing blackjack

It was soooo much fun. At the end of one session, I ended up coloring up $2000 in purple, and had started to leave the table. I got a few feet from the table, and before they started the next hand, I got a wild idea. I turned around, and before the next hand, threw a purple in the circle and said 'what the hell'.

The hand played out with me getting an 11 vs. dealer 10. Again, 'what the hell!', and doubled. Wouldn't you know it, I get an ACE

So I'm feeling dejected and figure that's $1,000 gone in less than a minute and get up ready to leave. BUT, the dealer flips over a 2 and proceeds to BUST!

It gets better. I leave the purple out there and the next hand is a blackjack....

I won one more hand after that, and left immediately as soon as I lost the next hand What an adrenaline rush!

But anyways, this is definitely a visit that I will remember for the rest of my days...feel free to post your most memorable casino visits here! This should prove to be an interesting thread....

When I lived in Las Vegas in the early 90's My husband and I went to Showboat ( remember this casino? ) He loved to play keno machines. He was playing 4 machines at once ( 25 cents in each - he's kinda cheap) he hit all 4 for 1700.00 each. After the win he still only played 1 coin . While I was playing video poker machines -max'd I won 3 royals that weekend. We ended up taking home about 7500.00 that weekend. We bought a pool for the backyard.

    I was playing at Caesars..

Purple is the next step up from black..they're $500

Yellow (Sometimes orange, depends on the casino) are $1000...I'm still waiting to get my hands on a grey chip though...those are $5000...hehe
