I haven't been able to decipher (from the few glances I've given this) whether they will have 'real' slots or if they'll be those damnable bingo and/or keno based machines (which I do not understand, and thus don't trust). Anyone able to fill me in?
Alice: But I don't want to go among mad people.
The Cat: Oh, you can't help that. We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.

I live in Florida an we go to the Hard Rock in Tampa
once a month right now they have slots like
Monoply, Wheel of Fortune, umm my mind went blank on other's

In the poker room you can play Tx Hold Em, Omaha

They are proposing now to get BJ an Vegas Style slots
I hav enever been to Vegas so I can't say

But we have fun when we go Lost 3k last month so
we are not going this month ugh wah sigh

I did not see 1 actual Bingo game except every slot that we put our players card in had a Bingo game
on top that you could win
However the games that the Tribes had in there we could not put our players cards in them nor did they have the Bingo games

Was it that "Bingo Nights" game? If so, that's a real slot.

If you're saying that every single slot had some sort of bingo game at the top - regardless of the name of the slot - then it sounds like they are the "rigged" bingo-style.

Every single slot had a bingo game on top
if you got the 4 corners you won the Jackpot
in a certain # of balls spit out

The only slots that didn't have the Bingo on top
    was the Seminole Tribe Games

    hmmm never thought of that
I spent most of my time playing
Tx hold Em an flirting lol

Our daughter came up an she played a bit of the slots her 1st time
she had fun won like $77 on 1 was in heaven cashed it out I turned around an she had put it right back in the same machine an lost it
    was funny

This is only our 4th time we went an this was the 1st time we lost
hmm wonder if our Daughter brought us Bad Luck

I went in a Racino in Alabama and they had these bingo boards up top too. Any machine that has these is a pull tab?

Haven't delved too deep... the angle i was looking at was the 25 year compact and the way the gov is trying to 'strike first' and get the money 'before the feds do'. It looks like a mess, and has been for a long time.

It all affects online, imo. Every one is trying to get their piece and lock it up... and what created the fever? Online.

It's probably going to get worse before it gets better. And no, I don't believe that semi-un-regulated casinos are an acceptable alternative. The Glory of Vegas is just that ( and I do play in reno... but it's nevada damn it ) and AC and Tunica may be good... I dunno.

BUT having a thousand half-assed gaming venues scattered across the US will never replace a few good gambling towns and the freedom to play and win/loss on line.

Every deal like this weakens the online player's position or at least our hopes; if one hopes for an online scenario with Microgaming and other platforms with payouts in the high 90's, and the occasional road or airtrip to an Experience.

There has never been a 'true' competition between online and landbased, but there were, for me at least, two viable alternatives. I could play online with no fear (was lucky to choose reputable casinos) or I could pack my bags and go to a REAL casino.

I see the State's laws getting as ugly or uglier than the Deval's MA proposal, while the poker players sell their souls (our freedom) for a uigea carve-out, (and LOSE) a complete proliferation of half-assed casinos with a federal Casino Czar overseeing them, states continuing to sacrifice our freedom for their fat pockets, and MGM and Harrah's keeping alll international competition away while they implement airport security-like measures for us to play online. (did I forget to mention all the old arguments of the poor going to the races and Grandma spending her dogfood money on lottery tickets in the hopes she could buy some burger?)

But I havew a problem with my eyes, sometimes I see Hope.... just not when I read stories like this one.
