Cripple Creek Colorado
Anyone ever been there? I used to work for a casino called the Midnight Rose. Next vacation you plan, and if you plan a gambling vacation... Check out Cripple Creek, Colorado. Here is a like to a live cam... http://www.cripplecreekcam.com/
There are only like, 15 to 20 casinos there... but it is a lot of fun. It is 45 minutes from Colorado Springs Colorado. Pikes Peak is between Colo Spgs and Cripple Creek. Going to Cripple Creek.. you can see the huge Pikes Peak.. Cripple Creek is so high in elevation, that when you are there, Pikes Peak looks like a little hill. LOL. None the less.. here is a photo. If you love Mountains.. and you love gambling... this is the vacation for you. (my sister is posing in it). Ohh.. BTW... watch out on the free drinks. The elevation quadruples the effect of alcohol on you! LOL Cheers: Joe |

Thanks for the headsup Joe.
Wow, there really are a lot of casinos in the States now! Maybe someday I'll do a troadtrip routed to and through casinos... seems like a good theme for a trip and with a teaser website and selling a book, it just might pay for itself eventually

I used to play at the Rose, Creekers, Gold Rush, and Black Diamond but now I just play at Double Eagle. I never pay for rooms or food there and the staff is wonderful.
They are building a casino now that apparently will be alot larger. Should be interesting...It is on the site where that little gas station used to be (right when you get into town). It's nice to see someone from my neck of the woods around here ![]() Cheers to you too!! |
