Stupid Question - please don't make fun of me!

I have search FAQ's, and I really did not want to have to ask this but could someone please tell me how you add a Thank you or a WTG to a post? I see them, I have had members thank me for a post, but for the life of me, I am feeling really silly/confused here as I can't find how to do it!!!

hi you have to make a few posts before your given the rights to use these, if ive remember correctly , anyway its at the bottom of which thread your reading along to the left of reply to this thread on so on & so forth )

I think the number of posts has to be above 10. Post a little more and it should appear.

I just hit 11 post and it just appeared! I don't feel so stupid anymore
