Welcome to the forum. I have found from my limited experience that you get out of this forum what you put into it. So don't be afraid to volunteer ideas, ask for opinions and help.

Most of the folks here are very friendly and seem to enjoy answering questions and trying to help a newcomer.

Poker is a separate area of this forum, so be sure to go there and check out what you are interested in.
