    Question Death Of A Spinner

    Hi Everyone,

I am newly registered with your forum. I too, like so many have watched from the sidelines for quite some time. So it's high time I became official.

I am a " spinner " and spinning is my drug, my vice, my high! Second only at this time in my life to my kids!

I am having severe withdrawals, as with a spinner, we crave the action, anticipation and belief that " it can happen! " I'm finding it really hard to make myself believe that anymore. I will soon be starting my latest novel, " Death of a Spinner..."

Instead of reading on the sidelines I have found it necessary to join your members for the comfort of exchanging information, experiences, knowledge, reality checks and yes, even your wacky, off the beaten track senses of humor.

NOW, As I have mentioned reality checks, I would like to give you all a few pieces of information. And then I would appreciate any and all feedback ( though no name calling as my ego is already deflated to a critical point.)

    1) Have deposited over $9,000.00 and played possibly another couple of thousand in comps. This is one, individual casino.

    2) Have played there on over 100 different times. Hundreds of hours.

    3) On the vary rare occasions that playthrough was met, it was only at a point where there was nothing left to play with, or such a small amount ( smaller than deposit ) that cashing out was not an option.

    4) I have never had a single cash out from this casino. AND THEN,

    5) Of the last two raffles, three winners of ten, were the same winners. HUNDREDS, THOUSANDS OF ENTRIES AND THREE OF TEN THE SAME WINNERS FROM TWO RAFFLES IN A ROW...(and two of those three had the minimum entries) anyone know probabilities?

    6) There have also been occasional issues of interuption of play during a rare good run ( when you thought things were finally going to make a change up )

The funny thing is, I has thought I had done my homework in searching out a casino to become familiar with...I was so worried about finding a casino I could trust to pay me if I ever won.....I forgot the winning part has to come first.

At the very start of my signing up I was thrilled with the playtime, although I had no cash outs, I thought, well, at least I'm getting some good play time here... ( a genious stratgey, by the way ) and that play time has not been repeated in a very, very, very long time..

But I had heard so many horror stories about people winning and then having so much trouble collecting them....I can't understand why we must not only gamble our money ( well, that part I understand too well!) but why we should have to make a second gamble as to if we will get paid or if our paperwork will be proven worthy if we win...They sure don't check us out when they ACCEPT all those deposits.

I am not an idiot...though this does not put much proof to that claim, I know you can't always win, I know the casinos are the real winners, I know about bad luck, bad runs of luck and long dry spells.....

I would like to know how you guys see this, Maybe I am being a poor sport, a lousy loser, and a wicked person to even think as I am.

This casino won over my confidence, took my friendship and trust and I feel abused, cheated and betrayed.
When they realized I was having conflicted feelings, they dropped me like a hot potato or a slippery fish...They would tell me, " good luck" , " good luck ", " we all want you to win...", " this bad spell has got to break ", well, you get the idea, and I bought into it hook, line and sinker.
I thought at one time it was a good idea to pick one casino to play at, becoming friendly and building a repore with them...duh, kept me there ( yeah, that, and thinking the odds had become overwhelmingly in my favor that I HAD to finally win something, anything!)

Thanks for listening and I am happy to be out of the closet...( LOL )

Spinner, this is just sad and speaks volumes of the massive cheating they do accredited or not!!!!!!!!!!

For people who believe this online software gaming isn't rigged, GET IT TOGETHER!!!!! They are usually the same ones who say "well if you think they are rigged, for the life of me I don't understand why you still play!"

Because we are gambling ADDICTS!!!!! Have you ever seen a drug addict just kick it in a matter of days, minutes, seconds...hell no! It is a sickness that takes time to finally sink in to your brain that you don't want to feel sick anymore!
You know that you are the problem, but your(our) mentality isn't healthy enough to let it go! But the more you get that nasty gut feeling and keep telling yourself something is very wrong here, that is like fertilizing your brain and it will soon become healthy again. And that is when you become strong enough to let it go!!!

Can't wait to read your novel!

Welcome to the forum. I know you found out the hard way casinos only like you when you are losing and have money. If either of these things changes, then you are no longer welcome as you so sadly found out. Take any more money you feel like playing and go to a landbased one...there at least they DO treat you good and give you what you are worth and show their appreciation for your play big time until they legalize online gambling!

We have all been in your shoes at one time or another thinking wow, what a great casino until we found out better..

This forum has some great people with diverse opinions which really is a great place to start understanding ..
Sounds like that lucky little lady that won 5 randoms in a week at the same place..never got the odds on that either ..

(Yes, I keep repeating this about the 5 randoms because there are no odds on this to be figured because it should NEVER have happened in REALITY. I guess that was why my question was never answered either)

Strange things have happened lately that cannot be explained and I guess you bumped into one too.

    Hi spinner0206,

It's always better to be inside that outside. So welcome to the forum

It sounds to me like you may have a gambling problem.

Using words like "crave", "drug", "vice", "high" tells me your slots play was/is more in-tune with an obsession, compulsion and an addiction.

Probably not what you want to hear.

And although some online casinos have been busted for cheating players, I don't believe all are dodgy or are out to scam players.

What adds to my opinion that you may have a gambling problem...You had more than a hunch that things were not Kosher but you continued to deposit and play

Having been a player since 97, an affiliate since 2000 and reading hundreds of similar stories like yours, one thing always stands out, the need to place blame on the casino, other winners ect...ect.

I know it's all relative but $9K ain't that much especially taken over 100+ deposits. Was this in a 1 month period, over 6 months, a year?

If losing $9K is a BIG deal, then you shouldn't have gambled $9K to begin with.

Sorry if this sounds harsh but pissing in someone's pocket and agreeing that casinos are rigged ain't doing anyone any good, especially if that person is displaying tell tale signs of a gambling problem. Which IMHO you are.

However with that said, if you decide that you do have a problem with gambling, there are a lot of great services (free) that will assist you in kicking the habit. But of course none of these will work unless a person admits to them self they have a problem and they want help.

    Cheers

    Dave

Hi there welcome to the forum of all forums. Depending on how long you've been playing of course like if your relatively new at it, you also could just be suffering the temporary high of someone whose never won a damn thing in their life or gone to vegas etc. so it's a big big thrill, especially seeing that other people are winning which means one thing. so can you. Then a year or 2 down the road, you may just win a couple 3 times a year and slowly lose that first big high even if your wins are good amounts. And then if you're like some, you might also just slowly deposit less and less and work your way right out of this horrible 'drug like' or was it 'drug induced' (sorry) addiction and spend more time yakkin in the forums of days gone by.
Or you might also just find out here that your favorite casino doesn't deserve your loyalty and start looking around at some of the good ones on the accredited list here but unfortunately that doesn't guarantee a win either. But variety would seem a lot more interesting to me winning or losing. good luck.

It took me a minute trying to figure out what you meant by spinner. At first I thought it was something back in the 80's, you know, the break dancing, head spinning thing.

    Anyways, welcome to the board.

    THANKS FOR THE WELCOME..........

Ok, that was supposed to be an attempt at sarcastic humor...( well, I do love it...but hey, there are indeed a few other things I do love more you sillies!!
I will say this however, to anyone who thinks they can spot the " addicts.." WE ALL ARE!! LOL we are all indeed addicted to that high when the games are playing as though they have magically decided to show you every winning combination there is... ( you know that ONE time that happens to all of us..LOL AND even if I can admit to myself that I am addicted...that does not make those odds any better....The real odds are already bad enough, we know that and and play anyway but my figures are incredibly UNREAL, and this is what has become obvious to me through all the experienced online gamers!

AND TO ALL...THANKS FOR THE WELCOME, you have some very interesting charactors here, that's fer sure....
