    Smile Intro

    G'day mates

I'm relatively new to online gaming (a couple of years...), more bricks and mortar. Got burnt at a couple of online casinos re: payouts, which is how I ended up at Casinomeister. WOulda saved myself a lot of grief had I signed up here first!!!

Welcome to the forum Valdez, sorry to hear you have been burned in the past. Hopefully that will change now that you have found the Casinomeister site here.

Bricks and mortars usually offer crappy payouts compared to online and crap bonuses or that annoying 6/5 blackjack payout or that 10% cash game 20-40% tourney pot rake and that annoying no odds or 1x craps,as opposed to 3/2 blackjack and 0-5% cash game rake, and 10-20% tourney fees rake plus rakeback deals which give you a % of the rake back to your account, craps is SO much more fun to play online, specially with 5x odds(extremely rare, usually 3x odds).Full pay video poker is also easy to find online.Never have I seen a 6/5 blackjack payout online,it's usually bonus blackjack versions that offer 1:1 blackjack odds but side bets and loose rules.

Single deck video blackjack is also not a rarity in online casinos,MG classic blackjack being the best.

Playing low house edge games is what I recommend, and online that is the best feature in my opinion, more entertainment for your buck also. You are more likely to go bankrupt faster on a higher house edge game.

Bricks and mortars casinos plus side is the LIVE aspect because you get to go out somewhere and cheap liquor, better comps for high rollers. And you can't forget the women...But online can promise more money usually in a long run aspect.Online you will get better comps if you are a low roller and more return money in any case but no free hotel room and free liquor
So I guess online gambling is more for the smarter gambler that wants a better EV(expected value) and a lower risk of ruin or the person that has no decent bricks n mortar around him in any case don't play at rogue casinos. For women just stick to the bars...
