    hello from the states

    hello all,
i am so happy to be joining up with the casinomeister gang.... it's good that there are forums such as these to keep these online casinos in check. i'm sure many of the accredited casinos want to stay that way and websites like this one don't necessarily ENSURE that, however they do help.

this past week i've been having a blast at the Golden Riviera on the new Tomb Raider game. I won $400 this past weekend and am going through the arduous process of cashing out (no easy feat for a US player anymore).

the only real gripe I have is their verification process. I COMPLETELY understand WHY they do this, however I do not understand why their email has a size limit and I had to take the original PDF scans of my documents, convert them over to JPEG and then compress them down as much as possible without losing quality so they can read them. It would just seem to me that they would save a lot of money by trying to help people as much as possible when they withdrawal, but I'm finding out that's the online casino business ... but really, when you ARE the house you're already making tons of money, why make people jump through so many hoops.

so, if there's anyone else that plays at Golden Riviera drop me a line and tell me how to get stuff done as quickly, efficiently, and with as little headaches as possible. I LOVE their games, but being new to all of these verification and payout procedures I could really use the help, especially if you live in the United States.

sidenote: they DO need to update their website - it clearly states that they can ACH your card on one page and then on another it clearly states that they cannot. Something to look at.

    good luck everyone

    thanks lisa,

yes, i did my homework before depositing a penny into any of these which is what brought me to casinomeister in the first place. I saw Golden Riviera on the accredited list ... googled "golden riviera" along with everything from "theft" "scam" and other key words and made a decision to go with them because I saw very few negative things about them with the exception of alot of posts in 2002 and 2004.

That Tomb Raider game is sooooo fun... I love the bonus round. Actually, my favorite "real" game was a monopoly game I played in Reno bout ten years ago.

either way, i'm jumping through the verification hoops and keeping a positive mind-frame. I really don't care when I get the money as long as I get it so I think I have a step up on some players who want their money NOW. I'm very leary of opening up accounts with places like quicktender, netteller, etc. because it seems like every time one of them opens up accounts in the United States they immediately get shut down.

So, if it takes a month to get a check that's cool with me as long as the check is valid and ... well you get the picture.

anyway, thanks for the reply and out of curiosity what is your preferred online casino??

welcome to the forum, as far as golden riviera goes, i have had my ups and downs with them, yes the docs are a pain in the xss but do get them in, they used to be fun but i have lost more than won and they have seemed to be tighter in the slot play lately, well last time i played that is again welcome and hope you" win and cashout".......................laurie
