Online Backgammon/Poker BOTS.

My first posting.
Salute to these Elysian fields of dreams.
I own fairly moderate poker skills but am a good backgammon player
and have a lowly world ranking.
I am curious to know if there are other affecionados of
"the worlds cruellest game."
There are many BG.net sites with play for money but it seems to this keen observer that there are aslo many sites with cute BOTS which play very well for the house.
A case in point.
Backgammon Masters where the BOTS play so bloody fast
it takes your breath away.
I have written to them no less than 7 times requesting verification of this self evident truth but thus far they have very carefully avoided answering.
For me its a given that on many sites,poker or backgammon the temptation to utilise sophisticated BOTS is highly profitable for the house.
Question.
Does anyone here know of a verification system to establish the use of BOTS and also is it legal,illegal,or grey area.
After Absolute pokers wide open cheating scandal and subsequent whitewash by the canadian reserve licence/server holders,what protection do we the players have and should,nt we be pushing hard for a mandatory declaration as to the use or not of BOTS on these sites.
I read very little about this malfeasance on any of the poker or BG sites I visit.
