update, nitro has pm'ed me offering to have me flown in, as his post here was suggesting. not much in the pm other than that, and to await further notice. his choice of words in his posts definitely suggests he could well be serious.
for the record, i'm located in london, ontario. somewhat close to toronto, but just as close to niagara falls where i'd be entering the usa were i to drive. there is large-ish airport here (still called int'l but not a huge opertation), if a private plane is going to be hired to come get me, i'm sure it would be no problem coming right to london, but i could also drive to toronto or detroit major int'l airports (or falls/buffalo area), and you can merely supply a ticket for me to fly on a commercial flight. not having to drive is a wonderful idea and i'm surprised at this turn of events.
it's funny you mention "calling my bluff", because i thought that's what i was doing to you! and it's possible you are just upping the ante on your bluff. but it seems your credibility is on the line, and this will indeed prove to me and all of us that you are for real, so if this is truly something you can set up and execute on, then i'm sure everyone will be happy to accept you and believe what you say. i'm willing to play guinea pig for a shot at 25k and for a free trip to ac.
oh one more thing, you're flying me in, what if i end up losing the bet? am i stuck in ac sans auto and sans appreciable cash, or are you supplying a round trip? and you say i can post once the actual bet is over with, so if i brought my laptop, i could post from the hotel room (they have wireless obviously, right?) and ask any members who live in the neighbourhood if they want to come on down later that night or the following night, to meet you and i and have a big party?
if everything goes as you say anyway, i won't really care if other people come, but 1819 said he wants to, to see for himself if you are really what you claim, bingot might come just for kicks, and i'm sure having other members show up to corroborate will only do more good to your reputation. i mean, you
could just cut me a lesser deal where you wire me a sum of money and i post here pretending i went down and did the deal as prescribed. i personally don't mind if others come or not, but just like your choosing a rogue site, some people just need to see it for themselves.
hit me back with more details as they surface. if this does proceed as planned, i am going to be living large: free flight in, free gambling money, free room, chance to earn 25k with no risk/strings attached. maybe if the rules are going to stipulate against anyone else showing up during my stay, you should just organize a get-together for meisterites at a later date. you know, so you can throw some money around for them too, and let anyone who wants to meet you face-to-face do so under the guise of a forum members' party. any excuse to meet other members and get out gambling i'm sure will be welcomed warmly by more than a couple people, even if you choose not to fund the entire event. anyways, i await further details and instructions. peace out!
