Yeah, they said the same thing when Jeremy Enke was banned over at PAP and then they accessed his account to post under it supporting one of The Professors threads.

    That was supposedely a "joke"

These people have a bad history of abusing privacy and speech in their communities, so it's still ridiculously laughable that we're expected to suddenly feel sorry for poor ol' Lou

Just to set the story straight, my account at CAP was disabled - I was put into a "red-headed step-child" user group where nearly all of the forums were no longer visible and my PM box was 100% maxed out with 2 PMs in it. Technically not banned - but truly disabled.

It didn't last long - as soon as I mentioned the fact here, it was a "oops, how'd that happen?"

But that's over now. As Webzcas mentioned, there are other issues at hand.

@ Lou. As you are probably aware, you will probably not get too far with dramatising issues here. If you cannot use your CAP email, I'm sure you have a number of others at hand via your 200+ websites. Hell, what about gmail, hotmail, or yahoo email accounts?

You should be wise enough to know that using "casino" related email accounts for your kids' school, banks, and your doctors' is not the smartest thing to do. This should go without saying.

    Where was this?
There was a thread from CAP that got copied before it was deleted.

I think there is copy of that CAP thread in one of the recent threads here that were started by Lou.

Any chance the cached version shows up in Google still? Or maybe it's found its way into the 'wayback' machine?

Jetset I have spoken with Raj and he has communicated via email that he wants to sell his interests in the company as he has no faith in the direction its been heading.
Seriously all of you should consider this. Instead of destroying its value with a public mudslinging contest you should all walk away and try to save your business which still has a decent value. A fire sale might encourage some of the affiliate companies to stay as they may trust the new ownership. Once those companies have walked away it will be very hard to bring them back no matter what.

Although your business has probably lost 80% of its value in a few months it will be a 95%+ loss if you keep up this mess, especially in the public's eye. SERPs are only worth so much and since the search engines are full of reports and threads about CAP's implosion those only have so much value anyway.

    Excellent Post, Pokeraddict.

In the business world everything you state is very true. The loss of value will quickly be regained with the current owners out, lock, stock, and barrel.

I personally do not believe the value loss is quite as high, percentage wise, as you do, simply because they are still in a window of opportunity if they act quickly. The longer this mess drags on, the harder it will be to bring CAP back to it's old value.

Lou and Warren need to decide if it would be better to retire in the Bahamas or in Cleveland!! (no offense to any in Ohio, I grew up there!)

I was addressing the fact of WHO banned you not the fact that you were banned.

It was at CAP last weekend. Being that I was one of the few active participants in the thread, if you want to get the correct facts, then hit me up and I'll give you all of the juicy details.

I've been to both and Bahamas is much better. Cleveland is way to close to the lake and that bone chilling cold coming down from Buffalo is no joke!
