Site Messed up

Just a Title. This is a great site. I think the idea works for anyone both in the industry and as player.

Now, I have not been here too long but here is what I have noticed.

1. You have 2 many forum sections. This makes it difficult to navigate. I could expand on that point if you wish & it goes beyond navigation.

2. When i look at the site, I see comments from sites to avoid. Meister, I saw one great post you made, and when I clicked on the link, there was another reputable site advertized under it. I knew the difference, newbies wouldnt. I would like to see you add your top 10 sites. Take a chance, stick your neck out. You would benefit greatly & so would the members. If you make a mistake you can always drop the site out of the rankings. Everyone makes a mistake but you can show true integrity as you showed in this post.

Re your #1: I disagree. It may have something to do with the fact that I'm a secretary (filing, sorting, etc.) but I like all the sections. Once I became familiar with the forum, I knew exactly what sections to look in to find what I wanted, or where I needed to post what. Sections offer the ability to skip things I'm not in interested in at any given times. (ex: Sometimes I want to read up on poker, most times, not.)

If I'm here for just a casual run through, I start at the top and work my way down. Which may be one reason some folks seem to never have known about the 'basement' -- the sections at the bottom for general chat and birthdays, etc. -- some may never make it that far.

That's a tough one to deal with since there are many sections of the forum. Each get's different kinds of traffic. How to position things is a tough call - the same goes for what to include. There are actually more sections planned. I'm waiting for the thumbs up to make the German section live again.

Not sure what you are getting at here. I'm mainly concerned about providing enough information to allow players to make intelligent decisions. One thing I require form players is to read as much as possible as well as they can. My concern is not marketing; yes, it pays the bills, but my main focus is providing information. Players have the "Accredited" section to chose their casinos.

Its always great to hear some different views and I am sure that constructive comments do make the site better. However, I disagree that we should have the top 10 sites. The Accredited Section is doing just fine. If the accredited casinos had to jostle for the first ten positions, this would be detrimental in my opinion because the ones like 32 RED and Intercasino would always occupy the top berths and those that are not in the top ten might find it uneasy although they might already have done a fine job especially with player issues. Bryan gives no second thoughts to dropping a couple from the list now anyway whenever they dont to be performing as they should.

Keep the comments coming though. We need them to improve what is already a great site.

Regarding having too many sub-forum sections, I think this is one of the most common mistakes webmasters make with forums. There is nothing wrong with having a lot of sub-forums, but the sub-forums must have traffic and/or logical division to support it. Casinomeister isn't as bad as most sites with this. However, I think the site would be improved, if some of the forums were combined. For example, I am a webmaster, and I don't see the need for 7 different webmaster sub-forums. Some of these haven't had any posts since June-August. I think the site would be improved, if they were combined into a single Webmaster Corner sub-forum.

That's been on my to-do list.

I have been here a while now... mostly lurking in the background lately... but I find no problem navigating the site. It just takes a bit to get used to what is where.
I think Bryan is doing a top notch job.
So THANKS BRYAN AND KUDOS!!

Hiya mystic, long time no see, right?!

I fully agree, navigating CM is a piece of cake unless you are a muppet

The old theorem 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' applies here.
