Pretty good prank! But, funny enough, it probably will eventually happen that way or something similar. Technology seems to know no boundaries. Look at the cell phones and how they keep evolving. They can do about everything except blow your nose! And, the younger generations will be pushing for more change and more change, simply because it is "a toy" for them. Amazing technology and top notch advertising will eventually make this world paperless, no books, no PCs, no regular land line phones, and whatever else. Too many to name.

    I get scared I can't keep up!

Now if they would invent a phone that would also do the laundry, do the dishes, vacuum, and all the other tawdry household chores... then it might not be so bad Oh wait! That's what we have kids for (except they move out eventually and then you're stuck doing all that non-fun stuff yourself again)!!!!

It has ALREADY happened with video games. Microsoft have brought out something where you play the game simply by doing the actions in front of a box full of sensors, and there is another where you hold some kind of fat wand with a white ball on the top, which is tracked by a sensor. Nintendo already had the Wii before this, where the controller was wireless, and worked by moving it around, rather than just pressing buttons.

Gmail Motion was credible in concept at least, it was the actual moves and responses that gave the game away that it was an April Fool.

My daughter got Wii for her kids when it first came out. She had a hard time keeping up with my grand daughters! I guess it is one way to get them off the couch vegging in front of the TV. Exercise, what a novel idea! When I was a kid..............sigh
