Deleting stuff from your guestbook?

Is there a way to do it without it still showing that you deleted something over a year ago? Or am I doing something wrong?

I deleted a bunch of old messages a long time ago but whenever I look at my profile it shows "a message from whoever - deleted." It's like the ghosts of those messages won't quit haunting me!!!

Just point them out to me. I an the only one who can permanently delete anything in the forum

Errrr, I can't figure out how to delete them either/at all/sometimes? Ugh, I feel so lost....

Right next to the report tab you will see a little box.
check it & go down the page to the "Moderation Tools"
Inside that check what you like to do and press the "Proceed" tab
It's easy to do lol

When a user deletes something it's called a "soft delete" and is visible to mods and above, usually only these higher up figures can permanently delete attachments and posts and whatnot. It sounds like we have an issue where they should become invisible after we delete them

I'd like to give you all the permissions to "permanently" remove the messages, but there is just one problem: if anyone posts abusive messages, and the user removes it, there is no proof that it was there.

So I would kindly ask you to please give me a heads up when your Public Messages are piling up, and I'll gladly permanently remove them for you.
