    A Break from Casinomiester

Prior to joining CasinoMiester, I was your typical online gambler that was satisfied with my results. Although (as far as casinos go) I’m presently a loser, I did have several winning years over the past decade playing online, and understood the long term results (unless hitting a life changing jackpot) would end up negative as of course it presently is. The thrill of the gamble has always been a part of my adult life, and although I’m a loser I enjoyed every penny I lost doing it and fortunately was able to afford the endless hours of thrill and excitement I paid for.

After the UIGEA was passed we all know the effect it had on U.S. players, and was the main reason I eventually found my way here at CasinoMiester.

We all know I was playing at a rogue prior to joining here, along with always getting paid, and really was just looking for more options to play at. Of course I learned why I was getting paid which simply was because I was losing a ton more then they were paying me. So they never got the opportunity to screw me if I caught them big thanks to this place, and I moved on.

After becoming a fixture here over the past year, I started to get concerned about all the rogue posts I was reading. Payout scams, game and software scams, RTP settings, I mean the list started to seem endless. Much of which was bullshit but much was true along with proof. If I never came here I might still be playing at a rogue, never hitting the big one of course, so still getting paid, never thinking about anything except my typical suspicions just like anyone else would have that naturally come from just gambling online.

Most here would agree that over the past year or two we all noticed a serious change with winning sessions all but vanishing. These periodic winning sessions are nothing more to most gamblers then ammo for more play time, just giving us a break from the constant flushing of cash down the toilet.

Although the past year or two for me was nothing more then a losing period, it was how I lost it that got me even more concerned. I played the same way, same bets, and same amount of time as any other years but the winning sessions vanished. Yes, I had several opportunities to cash out and never did, but in the past I usually wouldn’t cash out till I was up over 10 or 20k. Last year I cashed a couple of times for 4k and under, but was use to still having 10k left to burn when I cashed in the past. Last year when I cashed it was down to the last dollar in the account knowing I better take this and run cause you just knew it will only all go.

Regardless, with all the recent rogue tactics taking place and based on my own experiences, I decided to pursue who actually are looking after us online players other then Bryan and Max. Everyone that read my recent posts know how far I got, and trust me when I tell you I really did everything in my power to hopefully prove this online crap is legit or not.

I’ve concluded it’s not legit unless you want to believe it is based on what you’re told with absolutely no evidence of a fair game.

So, I’ve come to realize that I’m so pissed off that I couldn’t come up with not one single shred of evidence that online casinos are not self regulated, or are not free to do whatever it is they please, combined with my recent personal experiences, I pulled the plug.

As a result of this I’m presently challenging everyone and anyone in posts I think were worthy of a challenge, which has by now I’m certain given me the nickname Mr. Negative. I’ve actually taken some of my posts to the crude stage which isn’t my style at all.

I can’t see how with my firm believes I could possibly be any help any longer at this site.

Many affiliates are trying to make an honest living off this stuff, and in many cases do try to steer newbees in what they consider to be the right direction. I can’t see my attitude helping their course and eventually think I will be banned.

I spend a lot of time online and will always visit and read what I consider here to be interesting. But I will no longer post unless I get some special information that could help many of the friends I meet here.

Please don’t take this thread for a plead for comments of please don’t go and all that bullshit and please don’t do it. In fact I’m also certain many will applaud my decision.

I know I no longer fit in here with my present mindset and just know at least for now things will not change with online gaming.

Good luck to all of you….

    Carl

Carl, you're a good poster buddy and I know you are dis-heartened at the moment with your recent quest to find online regulation. Hopefully true regulation will come one day soon but until then all we can do is try our best to challenge the casinos and keep them on their toes for a fair game at all times.

I also know that we always don't agree with each other too but that is just the human nature of it all and our own unique individuality. I will miss your posts here buddy and I truly mean that.

Good luck to you with whatever choices you do make..

Wow Carl, what can I say. I have always enjoyed your posts, your input and your diligent intelligence. Although a couple of posts sent me over the edge, I still have great respect for what you have to offer.

But I understand where you are coming from. Many times after realizing that my rants regarding RTP, was just always finding that brick wall, I wondered, well if I don't have that then what do I have to contribute. But the fact is there will always be something for everyone to contribute at any given time.

It could just be something that someone else has sparked in your mind and the desire to participate outside our box can be very strong. So, I try to expand on what I want to express, communicate and participate in. Blending with others that share the same interest keeps us interested and mentally active. Although we may really tick people off, or tickle their funny bone, they are still eager and willing to have our participation with them. They may at times ignore us, but then so do we, or they may at times seem to teeter on the edge of a verbal knock down drag out, but then so do we. After a time, all these different personalities that you only mingle with through print start having faces, feelings and become more than just posters, they become your brothers, sisters, moms, dads, aunts and uncles. The forum can be very close to family in so many ways and although we may want to leave for a time, we miss them and only want to see them and read their ideas, views, comic attitudes, dumb assinine attitudes or what have you, again.

So not pleading, but when we think today we have nothing more to contribute, tomorrow someone will post something that will light a fire in your mind. So maybe don't go to far away.

We'll leave a light on for you.

Carl, I too will be sad to see you go. I have always enjoyed reading your posts.
I have been only gambling online for a little over a year and I have seen how things have changed since I have started playing. Your posts always make me think even if I didn't agree with everything you said.
I really hope you do decide to come back in the future because what you have to say has value in my opinion.

    You will be missed.

    Carl, sir,

As someone who often sees issues from your side of reality, I have a great respect for your opinions. And I am sure that all of the assorted and distorted individuals that make up this community will feel the loss should you be compelled to take a long break from posting here at CM.

I feel your sorrow. The abyss that online gaming has become is very sad, especially when seen in the light of "what could have been". But rather than quit my opinions, I just decided to quit online gambling. I am a better person for it, and it has certainly allowed me to find my place here at the forum.

So from one Crabass to another, hang tough. Right is right, and integrity rules!
