Thanks for reminding us of that. I don't use it often. At this point, I have a fair number of reputation points and often I most often use the thanks button because if a member keeps up to date with a cashout issue or a rep responds to a question I don't want to attach unwarranted reputation points for a simple matter.
There are certain posters I thank more often than others. When VWM has a busy posting day, I can usually find 5 of his to thank. Or there are threads that are very active with members contributing very valuable points to the discussion.
If you haven't read the forum in a bit, it is easy to find more than five posts to thank. I've chosen carefully and thanked Robwin for suggestion to increase it to 10, even though he said he was kidding.
I know when I take the time to compose a post and am thanked, it means a lot to me. Not for
CM reputation, but to feel my contributions here in this forum are valuable to other people. People need to feel appreciated, and I worry that limiting thanks will limit people's partipation in
CM.
Bryan, I have the greatest respect for you. I hope you rethink this.
But this morning (guess that day is GMT) I read posts where members had dug up info on the ownership of casinos, posted updates on payment issues, and had no way to thank or acknowedge them.
Maybe I'll go find them and add some reputation.
