if practice makes perfect, yet nobodies perfect, then why practice?

The best peice of advice I can give you is to read lots of posts and get to know peoples' personalities, this way you will know how to approach them in a post. Often times people come in here (not saying you ) and start yapping at people like they know them their whole life. You have to ease into this site because gamblers are a bit different than a regular forum. THere are people in here to have fun, there are people in here for serious advice and dont like to partake in jokes and nonsense and then there are those who like both.
If you take the time and get a chance to get an idea of the personality, you wont have any probems. This place hates bragging and bullshitters the most and like honest people who are not trying to be someone they arnt![]()
Sometimes it may be difficult but we must try to refrain from transforming our opinions, however correct they may be, into personal attacks. Keep to the subject and if you feel there is a need for someone to reconsider his/her options put it in a nice way. The thumbs up/smiley signs can cushion any strong words that you write.
As for rep points, they may not necessarily mean anything but many of us do like being appreciated. Other than the Thanks button, you can also click on the scales and add reputation to other members with a thank you note as well.
Snowkatt, you will like it here, I am sure. All opinions are welcome so dont be afraid of voicing what you think is right. just read it in draft form before sending it out to ensure the tone is not menancing..
