Casino Portal Hosting?
Sorry if this is not the right thread for this. Mods, please move me if you need to.
I was wondering if anyone knows of any good Web hosts that will be okay with hosting an online casino "portal" or "list". I currently use godaddy for other website ventures, but I don't think they would be okay with this. Their terms state: Web Site Content You shall be solely responsible for providing, updating, uploading and maintaining Your website and any and all files, pages, data, works, information and/or materials on, within, displayed, linked or transmitted to, from or through Your web site, including, without limitation, trade or service marks, images, photographs, illustrations, graphics, audio clips, video clips, email or other messages, meta tags, domain names, software and text. Your web site content shall also include any registered domain names provided by You or registered on behalf of You in connection with the Services. Notwithstanding anything in this Agreement to the contrary, in the event You are using ad-supported hosting, in no event shall Your web site consist of the following: search results, registration, "thank you", error, email or chat pages, pages comprised primarily of other advertising or pages that contain any of the following types of content: pornographic, obscene or excessively profane content or content intended to advocate or advance computer hacking or cracking, gambling, illegal activity, drug paraphernalia, hate, violence or racial or ethnic intolerance. |

This should probably go in the "Webmasters" section but I wasn't sure if you would be able to see it, so it's here for now until the Meister intervenes.
For what it's worth, I have used www.mydomain.com for one of my sites and it's good - and quite reasonably priced too. It's US based so it's ideal for the US audience. |

Welcome to the webmaster's section, Brookshire. Casinomeister is hosted at Futurequest.net and their service is second to none. http://www.Futurequest.net/ It's US based, and I have been more than pleased with their service for years. On another note, you may want to consider a more "gaming friendly" country since things are getting a bit weirded-out in the States. You should always remain flexible and ready to roll with the punches if and when they do come along.

Thanks for the great replies!
Casinomeister, Yes, things are getting a bit wierd here in the states as far as online betting goes, but hey.....I think it will blow over soon. Everything will be fine. Thanks for the hosting recommendation. |

I've just gone back to WebFusion.co.uk today.
Based in the UK their base package Win IIS starts @ 6.99 GBP per month including VAT 17% loading. Though I use Unix and it's the same price. If you don't require databases it's a great deal. Especially as you get 15gig of teir 1 bandwidth a month, 1gig of storage and heaps of scripts too. Also they are offering a free domain too. And if that's not enough a 50GBP google ad word voucher for free. Not that that is of any use to a gambling site
