Odd Referal - Any Ideas?

I see a few hits in my stats for the search term "www.freeslotsforfun.net/freeslots/ccrystal/waters/" which appears to be a direct reference to one of my sites, although the URL it displays is incorrectly formatted. However, when I click it to replicate the search, it takes me to an odd looking page on the Google URL above. On the surface it seems like a Google cache URL, but when you look at the source of the page it has all sorts of gambling and porn stuff and why is it generating clickthrus to my site?

There's something odd here and I can't quite work out what its all about or whether someone's gaming me.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure, but I know that it is possible to spam web stat logs, to appear that visitors have clicked through from a specific site or sites.

WoW - Simmo - that is totally bizarre.

I'm not even sure what to think about that - it's not proper in so many ways.

I am thinking it is a redirect.

Report it to Google.

Although I can't shed any light for you Simmo! I too noticed some funky stats and it boils down to someone spamming my stat logs.

When you think people can't stoop any lower, someone always proves you wrong
