    Party poker Step Tournaments

Question for those PP players. If you win a step tournament at a lower level , (step 1) this gives you entry to a step 2 which could also be a buy in.

    2 Questions.
    1. At the higher steps are most coming in via that method or the buyin route?
    2. Does the player have the option of when he/she wants to compete at the next step? If so how does it work?
(IE if you win on a specific night and wish to quit for the day, do you get credit for this buy in or must you play on the first available higher step table?)

I could not find on website.

    Thanks,

    Buck

You win a freeroll token, which you can use for entry to the next level any time you want. If you try to enter a tourney for which you have a valid token it'll give you the option on the buy in screen of using either the token, or cash. You can also stockpile tokens, and use them for entry to any level you want - ie you could win on L2 x amount of times then buy direct into L5. As for entries, it varies, a lot of people buy direct into mid levels as they pay more places. My own approach is to buy direct into L3 as it offers great value with correct strategy - then play it multiple times building up tokens, then enter direct into the final level, keeping a couple L3 entries aside as fallback
