Poker included in line-up of Nintendo DS offerings

Entertainment provider Majesco yesterday announced the addition of poker title to its current options of Nintendo DS games. The company, selecting the most popular poker variation, decided to provide Texas Hold 'Em Poker as the most thrilling offering for players.

Texas Hold 'em Poker is a follow-up to the Game Boy Advance version released late last year, reported The IGN. The DS version will allow to choose as many as ten different computer opponents. The Nintendo DS' wireless networking support is tailored to let players find the most suitable tournament mode that may put five friends on the same poker table.

The poker option was added along with racing game ATV: Quad Frenzy, the off-roading sequel to ATV: Quad Desert Racing released on the GBA more than a year ago. The company haven't disclosed the release date for updated Nintendo DS games, but they are expected to ship by the end of this year.

Majesco is a provider of diversified offerings for digital entertainment platforms including video game titles, video content titles and digital media peripherals and applications.
