Does Boss Media have a clue?

I have always liked Boss Media. I trust their integrity, and their number generators. I definitely think you get a FAIR shuffle from the folks at Boss Media.

But do these people have a clue? They just had a major "upgrade" of their poker software. It SUX! Their old version wasn't that spiffy either. But omg! If you're going to upgrade something, shouldn't it get better? I wonder if the folks at Boss Media even know any poker players.

I still wish them good luck. I still think that someday they're going to be a real force to be reckoned with in the industry. But someone has to get with the program. Someone has to get a clue.

However, to be sure, they've got some of the juiciest poker games on the Net. It's worth the frustration. Just don't play without all-in protection.

Just had my first experiance on the "new" software.
On the plus side things are a bit neater, the player icon (that round thing) is clearer than the old one. Also the muck pile is neatly in the corner rather than cards lying all over the table.
On the minus side you can still only play 1 table, the lobby is a joke and the settings in general are confusing.

As you say though the play is very soft with 60% seeing the flop and everyone calling down with total cr@p.

Worth having a punt there whilst 3 tabling crypto/party

The new software is an improvement over the last version. The lobby and table graphics are more visually appealing but the inability to multitable is a MAJOR disadvantage when compared to other sites.

you can only sign up for two of their poker sites or they will lock your accounts if you go over this number.

So I guess to answer your question....No they don't have a clue.

i always did like Prestige Poker and playing with the Turks. They were terrible.

Well I did not witness the locking of accounts. However, I was not allowed to sign up for a third one. Once you complete the registration, press the submit button, it notifies you that you are already signed up for two of them.

WTF! One of the places I was in, Prestige, moved to Playtech. I always liked Prestige. I think they made a wise move with their casino. It should do better over at Playtech. But it doesn't look like the Poker Room is doing better. Maybe they should have stayed at Boss. Go figure!

So if a player was in poker rooms on Boss Network before from Prestige and Playgate, for instance, well I guess now they're screwed.

I noticed that King Solomon's is using Boss' Poker Network. That surprised me.

If you look at the various clients of Boss Media, look at their websites, you'll see so much detail that is never updated. It seems they just leave their casinos practically unattended, to run themselves. I'll say it once again, I LIKE Boss Media, and DO trust them, but it just seems that at so many levels they just don't have their sh-t together.

PS: LOL, love those Turks, eh? I'm sure they're nice people like anyone else, but at poker, they suck! LOL

Yes this is by far the best thing going for Boss Media rooms. When surrounded by Turkish city names it is time to decide what next major purchase you should make. A plasma TV, a new car, maybe even a vacation home......

    I have to Agree

Boss doesnt seem to have much clue. I also liked the old software much better.

Its weird , i have accounts at 3 of their rooms. King Solomons, Sportingbetpoker and Totalpoker.

By the way. If someone is thinking on joining at some of the Bossmedia poker rooms and likes FAST withdrawals, you should definately join Sportingbetpoker, because they process withdrawals themselves. You will usually get your withdrawal within hours/day instead of the normal webdollar 2-4 days.

Yes Sporting Bet has always cashed me out in just a few hours. My Superbowl cashout came in 4 hours and you know that they had to be slammed with cashouts. Fast cashouts can make up for many other problems like the terrible software problems.
