Ok, so mine isn't that great. I'm guessing Burroughs references are too obscure for most net users....but what are some of the best userid's you've seen in pokerrooms?

I thought this thread was about good userid, how can any of these be considered good? They are of rather poor taste if you ask me. No?

I have to agree SW. Those userids are in very poor taste.

I like "GamblinRose" and "KissMyAce". lol

If you want to see some really nasty ID's, try Poker Champs. One of the more annoying nics is "ImInCider".

Have you seen much correlation (positive or negative) with userid's/playing style?

Most I've seen are false advertisements for the players style...though its not always true. The only real correlation I've seen is that if someone has a really sophomoric nickname, especially an offensive one, they are usually a pretty poor player, and often they are a LAG who can't wait to give you their wallet.

I agree that players with names some might find offensive are not usually good. The especially bad ones seem to be ones with drug references. Maybe they are too stoned to play well??

I have noticed that some players with really sexually offensive nics tend to play aggressively...too agressively...going all in on every hand. What's really annoying is when one of them gets lucky and that strategy works for a long time....
