Some amusing weekend listening

The hype around Isildur1's hoped-for outing at the upcoming Party Poker show The Big Game heightened over the weekend with the posting of an amusing and very well done Youtube.com presentation titled "I am Isildur1" - view it here (it's well worth the time).

0ver 24 500 hits had been recorded on the Youtube insert as InfoPowa went to press, and we think that could escalate considerably.

The words and visuals were penned by Sohello Shah and Frederik Thomson and are set to a popular mainstream tune written by Joacim
Gustavsson.

The parody effectively captures the mysterious Swedish player's dramatic swings in fortune and his love for the big bet, and features well known names in international high stakes poker with whom he has clashed online - notably Brian Hastings, who tood the Swede for a record $4.2 million in one Internet session.

The chorus line gives a good indication of the content: "I am Isildur, that degenerate Swede... Boy, I almost busted durrrr but now nobody gives a damn. I hate the min-bets and the Omaha too...why don't you guys just play Hold'Em....".

Just checked and saw that durrr is up about 9 million since the slaughtering he got from Isildur in his best game, HUNL. Thats quite impressive as much of the profits has come from his weaker game PLO.

Isildur must be the most degenerate nosebleed player I have seen and I doubt that he will be around next year.

Durrr's comeback has certainly been remarkable - just two days back he scored another $1.2 million at the expense of players like Ivey and Sahamies and another reportedly Swedish player using the handle Odonkor1..
