    Ladbrokes----reduce there rake

    got an interesting e-mail today......

    Ladbrokes Poker reduces rake

This is a service message to inform you that as of 10am today (21st October 2008), Ladbrokespoker.com have amended their rake structure so a maximum of 5% will be raked across all cash tables, with blinds 0.05/0.10 and up.

    Rake
Rake is only collected on called bets; the number of players dealt into the hand determines the maximum rake as per the schedule below. No rake is taken from pots where the flop is not seen.

All tables, with blinds 0.05/0.10 and up

    # of Players Rake per Pot Max Rake

    2 0.01 per 0.20 1

    3-10 0.01 per 0.20 3

This rake structure applies to all currencies offered by Ladbrokes Poker.

    Best Regards,

    Ladbrokes Poker Team

    well done ladbrokes

So the rake there was more than 5% before? That's harsh. Since they are moving to Prima I'm guessing this is so they match it.
