For the benefit of poker players or not?

    Bonjourno boys,

I have seen the recent spam threads and like the majority here I agree with the maronic spamming done by certain dubious casinos and or their affiliates.

My point is that in poker, there are certain sites which have freerolls where there are absoloutely no conditions to play i.e. you download the software, register, play and if you win, simply cash out.

My point is if I name any of these sites, is this considered spamming, or am I in fact giving information which is to the benefit of the poker players amongst you?

I for one as a poker player would welcome being informed of no condition freerolls, whether in a thread or a dedicated section wherby poker reps can post this information?

I look forward to your comments,

    Cheers,

    Dazzla

It isn't my forum but here is my opinion. If you directly benefit from your post then it is spam. In other words if you use affiliate links or you own or work for the poker room then it is spam. If you are reporting it simply as news w/o any benefit to you then it is not spam.

    Share the freeroll information

I am not the forum owner or moderator either, but I certainly hope you would not get into trouble with the site by sharing some information about freerolls with the rest of us. I know of several myself that I play in quite a bit and would be happy to let the rest of the forum know about them also.

With all the problems in Internet poker lately, and the fact that I have been burned by certain sites, I am very leery of making any desposits of any kind anywhere, so I play mostly freerolls to try to win a few bucks, then use that money to enter into the buyin games.

I'll keep an eye on this thread and if you are posting the sites, then I will also.

I think most sites offer freerolls of some sort. No deposit freeroll? pokerstars & fulltilt have them around the clock although cashing from them is extremely difficult. The last time I played on PitbullPoker it was extremely easy to cash. Ive heard CarbonPoker is pretty good for freerolls. All the above accept players from the US. If you are trying to cash, find some of the smaller/newer sites. They popup all the time. For a more fun game pick a site like pokerstars. They have massive field freerolls.

    Poker Freerolls

Yup, most sites do offer some forms of freerolls.

I'll add one to the list for now, Wingows. They have a couple for $300 and $100 respectively and pay pretty deep on them. I have not encountered any problems there, building up a nice bankroll from freeroll winnings and then playing in some of the buyins. I have to use moneybookers on the site, but so far no issues with them either.

Good luck and have fun at the tables.

FWIW there are tons of threads at 2+2 about Wingows slow pay and non paying. Maybe it is because of US processing issues but they were scammed by Dynamic Gaming Systems like so many other sites so I'm sure that hurt.

I entered a nice little freeroll at pokerstars tonight, just started. 614 players registered for a $21,500 prize pool (Top 100 collect $215 ticket). I like those odds for a freeroll
