100K at Stars Cancelled???????

Now I haven't been around much since my grandmother's death in May, but I noticed today that the 100K on Stars (the 11 dollar entry tourney) was canceled. Anyone know what is going on? I played it a couple of times a while back when it first started. I've actually been playing in Vegas live tourneys. I played the LIPS Hall of Fame tourney at Binion's. Played a few at PH (Grinder's tourneys) and at the Golden Nugget. O'sheas ring games are nuts. Easy money there.

Anyway I was wondering if any one has any ideas on why a very popular tourney would get canceled PLEASE let me know.

Thats unusual. I was on at stars at the time in another tourney. The 100k never has an overlay. I never hear anything

I tried signing up about 15 minutes before the start, I was put in queue- I was guessing a lot of people were signing up @ the same time. I waited about 30 minutes and then got the message tournament cancelled. I just thought I didn't make the the 20,000 limit. I sure hope this was a one time thing, I really like this tourney.

I heard it was just a technical error. It will be back on next week

I've played the tourney when it wasn't full. They still had it though. The past few months the tourney has always been full. I was a bit shocked when I saw it was canceled.

I hope it was just a technical error. I am starting to get the itch to play again.

From the atmosphere there, I bet this is true! I was there in December and while waiting for a NL game, I saw a midget dressed up as a leprechaun hop up on the bar and pour shots down people's throats....it was quite a sight!!!!

I think the noise level in O'sheas is about 3x the norm for a casino

Wild place!

I like that they have 2 poker tables setup right in the front of the casino by the doors...It can get pretty dull if you're tucked away in some room away from the main casino floor.
