I'm sure it happens all the time, and those of you who play a lot more poker than I do probably see it often, but this is the first one I've seen in the year and a half that I've been playing poker, and I was able to catch a screenshot so I thought I'd post it.

It's just a freeroll, but he won a lot of chips, knocking out the other guy. It was the losing guy who was making the big bets. I'm not sure if he had a flush or what.

i saw a royal live a couple months ago in a weekly game i sometimes go to. the guy didn't even realize until they went on their backs, he only knew he had a nut flush, i think AQT7 diamonds were all on board, and he had JK in the hole. i think someone got a screenie on their camera phone.

I think there was only 3 or 4 of us among the living. The guy that lost was sitting just to the right of the winner and had about 6,000 chips; the guy with the royal had a little bit more than that and was able to clean him out.

As irony would have it, I was short-stacked later on in the tournament (about 4x the BB) and went all-in before the flop with the same starting hand - Ace Jack of diamonds. The guy that called had the 5 and 8 of diamonds. Two more 8's appeared on the flop.

Hmm. Thordorisk is an interesting guy and he is entitled to his own opinions. The only thing is how can he keep himself entertained or happy playing at a casino when he thinks that everything is rigged?

We all should see Royal Flushes quite frequently. I see them a lot.

Whilst individual odds of getting a royal flush are identical for all players, the odds of seeing one increase given the amount of cards in play at a 10 player table.

Especially a "free" table where the loss is negligible and a preponderance of players stay in for the flop.

One can think stuff is rigged all they want. Free and freeroll tables have looser play so subsequently rarities aren't so rare in the world of fish.

I've played a lot of poker over the last few years, have no idea how many hands and I've had ONE royal. I was so excited....cause the place I was playing at had a jackpot for a royal..... so I did screenshots, wrote down the name of the table, ect., shot off my email to claim my jackpot. It was something like 500 times the table limit. Well guess what......no jackpot for me. In the fine print was the rule that you had to use both the hole cards.....I only used one.

It really sucked...to say the least. I haven't played much on that site since.
