Question Online poker still in good shape for US players?

I just logged in to FTP, and noticed in their banking section that they still offer Epassporte, as well as MoneyGram as options to deposit for US players.

I'm assuming online poker rooms are in better shape to withstand this BS than casinos?

edit: I guess it really depends on the poker room. I just checked DreamPoker, and C2P seems to be the only option there. The credit card option is still available for US players, but I'm sure even the gift/prepaid cards will stop working soon enough.
Operators: If you don't know what Transparency means, then here you go.....now how about practicing it?

Transparency, as used in the humanities and in a social context more generally, implies openness, communication, and accountability. It is a metaphorical extension of the meaning a "transparent" object is one that can be seen through. ...

Winbig, I'd assume that any of the poker rooms running on the Prima platform will be in the same predicament as Microgaming casinos, as far as payment processing goes.

They might be in a little better shape but options are slim and there is no telling which processors will hang in there.

I have an email in to Dream to find out if they're working on other payment options at this time. I'll keep you updated.

I just hung up the phone with the head man at Dream Poker. He assures me they are working on ALL issues, from depositing to withrawals. He also assured me that no matter what if you want your money out, You will get it one way or another. He realizes this was not the players fault therefore it will not be held against you in any way. He plans to have something posted here as soon as he has the answers to the concerns of the players. He would like you to know this concern is not being avoided by them ( as he has the utmost respect for this forum ), they just do not have the answers as of yet.
Look forward to hearing from them soon.

Dream's support personnel certainly aren't the brightest in the bunch. Glad I rarely have problems that I need to contact them about.

Subject: Deposit options for USA players

    Hello,

Can you please tell me what deposit options are still available at Dream for USA players?

Is there anything in the works to introduce new options?

    -----------------------------------------

Thank you for contacting DreamPoker Support.

Please note that the deposit methods that you may use are as follows.

Master card, VISA, Click2pay, Instadebit, Usemybank, Moneybookers and money transfer.

If there is any further requirement you may need, please do not hesitate to contat us at any time.

    Kindest regards,
    -----------------------------------------
Can someone please answer my question correctly? My question was regarding deposit options for USA players.

    Moneybookers: No USA
    Usemybank: No USA
Money transfer: Not even an option anymore (western union)
    InstaDebit: No USA

    -----------------------------------------
Please be advised that due online gaming regulations and banking restrictions which only apply to US players, you will not be able make a deposit using the methods below.

I would like to advise you to open a FirePay account and use it as a purchase and withdrawal method.
    Kindest Regards,
They're just repeating what I had to point out to them in the first place - those options aren't available.

It even says right in the banking section that players from the USA can't use firepay.

Have you heard anything back? They're ignoring me. It doesn't look like they want to keep their loyal customers, that's for sure. I've been with them for over a year now...no telling how much rake I've generated for them.

    Hey win..
This is all I have heard from them and I didn't think it was worth the effort but here it is.. Hope it is more helpful to you than it was for me.
Although I do have click2pay... net still owes me and I am not holding my breath which leaves me to not trust anyone now.

    Hi xxxxxxxx,

The credit cards are still the only remaining option for the time being and we do find that some players have no luck with their cards on our site or other sites due to certain banks being stricter than others and blocking your purchases to our site. This is due to our banking gateway or our online merchant which we are looking into.
With regards to Click2Pay, if you have an existing account then you are good to go, but they will not be opening any new accounts for American players.
I will keep you posted if any new developments happen with new banking methods.

    Have a good day

Yea, pretty worthless information, but thanks. I never registered with C2P, so I'm SOL. I wish they would answer my question about withdraw options. It's getting rediculous with them
