    A real moneymaker

PLAYBOY POKER CAMP A REAL MONEYMAKER

2003 WSOP champ develops his relationship with Playboy

When the 2003 World Series Main Event Champ Chris Moneymaker and his company Moneymaker Gaming signed a partnership with Playboy Enterprises you just knew there would be some innovative gambling ideas in prospect, and the partnership of poker savvy, fame and beauty has not disappointed.

It started with an imaginative range of poker products that included upmarket poker chips with Playmate logos and pictures, and its latest venture looks sure to be a moneymaker, too. The champ is hoping to trump other poker training ventures by running his own unique training....with a final bash at the Playboy Mansion!

From January 21st, Moneymaker Gaming will be hosting long weekends of cards, instruction, and parties branded the "Playboy Poker Camp." It's not cheap - packages start at $5 000 - but trainees will get lectures, tuition and demonstrations from some of the top names in poker.

Scheduled to teach on the course at the Morongo Casino in Palm Springs are top-level poker pros such as Layne Flack, David Williams, Jim "Krazy Kanuck" Worth, and Moneymaker himself. After the classroom sessions the pupils take on each other and the pros in tournaments and Sit-n-Go's, with $100 000 in cash and prizes in the pool.

But it's the social side that adds a new dimension to the Moneymaker-Playboy venture. There will be a strong partying element that starts in the elegant Ultra Lounge with a reception hosted by Playmates such as Monica Leigh (Miss March 2006) and Carmella DeCesare (Playmate of the Year, 2004). And the final mother of all parties will be at the Playboy Mansion with Playboy pin-ups in abundance.

The package deal provides aspirant poker champs with two days of instruction and action, accomodation and meals, entry into the tournaments and a crack at that $100 000 prizepool....and the partying. In addition to cold hard cash, success in the tournament can win uniquely interesting awards such as tickets to future parties at the Mansion, luncheon with a Playmate, and a Vegas vacation.

There's a website at Playboypokercamp.com with all the detail.

I'm sure others will agree, Moneymaker winning the main event was a fluke.

    stats can be deceiving

    Attachment 4595

Moneymaker gets all sorts of donations from donks who want to take their shot at a pro. So even though his stats appear better, carlchilders is actually the better player.

And soap's stats would be better if he would stop trying to run with the big dogs and get back in the $3 donk lottos with the rest of us.
